I Can't Believe We Lost £20,000 in One Week! 

Hey guys! So this week we had to get rid of all the scrap because the price was dropping massively. We wanted to show how much scrap went so sorry if it's slightly repetitive but this was all we did this week before we lost even more money. So hopefully you guys still enjoy it, thanks everyone for watching we really do appreciate it.

Keep the videos coming, what a difference to the yard now from back to the first ever video you did. I`ve binge watched them all over the last 4 weeks and seen the yard grow and become more tidy and efficient.

With a larger yard, would you gamble and stockpile scrap till prices increase? Zoe - the reason no one comes down to collect merch is as James shows us regularly the door is usually locked to the counter! Perhaps a door bell is required? Don't you have any mobile sandwich vans locally, our local industrial estates get one with an air horn to let all the units know it has arrived?

Just a thought, move the racks to were the bails are, stack bales in alcove in far side of yard. Move baler to along side wall by bins. May open up your yard and make better use of that area, think it would make moving around better and easier for trucks to be loaded and unloaded. food for thought to utilise yard to full extent.

Videos don't seem repetitive. Do what ya need to we're not going anywhere!

Hi John ,James , Wow very busy which is go to see, gutted that scrap metal has gone down £70 per tonne, and you have shifted 300 tonne in a week that is some scrap going out I know its been hard lately with the grab handler and the bailer being out of action be my god you have shifted a lot of scrap out.I am happy that the car parts are selling well. I absolutely enjoy all what you do and put on video nothing repetitive or boring, This is real and as it comes this is honest work and it's your lively hood this is what makes your money and I am great full to see it all and from behind the scenes as it is. Excellent video lads n zoe, listen dont think for one minute we get bored of your content its your bread n butter its why you get out of bed in the morning. I hardly ever watch normal tv anymore as my enjoyment comes from grafters like yourselves creating content which i appreciate cant be easy at all. Doing a top job and thankyou from bonnie Scotland.

I know the price of scrap can drop by the hour and its a real killer for your business, you need a lot bigger yard so you can stock up when prices drop, hopefully this year you'll get that yard .

The tuck shops are quality when you find them places like this, my favourite was the CBT place he had all the old sweats haha. Get something sorted in the office!

In the corner next to where that American camper trailer was ,can't you make an exit there where the wall fell down .then swing left the right up the hill ..... nearly all the scrap as gone is the perfect time to sort the corner out near the bailer . I would move the de pollution bay to where those shipping containers are in that bay where all those pallets were wasted space there least you could still load lorry’s without stopping the yards operations just build a shelter roof out of scaffolding. A roundabout great idea simple 😉 just take the yard next-door buy all the houses on the street 🤪. When we were braking the wast plastic always bugged me have you thought about recycling it yourself into simple things like decking planks it's a pretty simple process to figure out and when you think about it there's thousands of simple things you can turn it into that will sell

I’ve seen this happen a number of times a sudden price drop can be crippling a good friend lost over 100k over night he had a very big yard and couldn’t get it processed and out in time

I also think you need to infest in a copper shredding machine to make pure copper shred and also like I have said b4 an ally smelter u could make so much fron your no ferrous scrap yes kit to start it off proper wouldn't be cheap but the cars u get through you would soon make it pay clean copper like £6k a ton and sum alloy about £800 2 a grand plus batteries and cats soon b millionaires boyz!!! I don't know why you kept apologising for this content. I watch BCB because I like the varied day to day running and goings on at a proper real life business and how the various characters interact. The only criticism I have is due to the amount of wagons you had in there was a distinct lack of "keep coming. Keep coming...WOW YA NUTTER!!!!" Maybe you can only do that with certain wagon drivers. Very funny to see.

Thats the scrap trade for you nothing you can do about it but it will go back up when the demand for it goes crazy but you sell parts off vehicles but you haven't got the yard to stock pile it up to wait for better price but people won't understand that you are paying less for the cars and start moaning but nothing you can do about it things will get better guys

Just shows to avoid borrowing any money as an outstanding loan with profits dropping could kill a business .
