Pastor thank you for preaching about the horrors of Hell. It was over 45 yrs. ago I sat in church and heard a "fire and brimstone" sermon and felt an overwhelming conviction of my sin, repented and trusted Christ as my savior. I didn't even know I was lost, didn't do anything to terribly bad I thought and had no clue if I died I would go to Hell. That day many years ago changed my heart, mind and life forever. For me to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Jesus taught us to love our enemies not torture them. I’m quite sure the Lord is way more loving and merciful than me. The doctrine of “eternal torture” in hell is fallacy due to inaccurate interpretations along with church tradition. IMHO.

@@GTRalso We are not God and do not know the intricacies of the human heart. He is. His judgment is just. We are counciled to love our enemies as God loved us. But, God has extended grace after grace. How is it justice to not hold sin into account at some point? Either it falls under the amazing mercy of Jesus' death and resurrection... or it falls upon one's own head. Just my opinion, based on Scripture.
@@GTRalso I suppose you didn't address a complete lack of accountability. May I direct you to Matthew 25 where Jesus discusses the sheep and goat judgement. In verse 46, He clearly states they will go into eternal punishment. Whatever we believe, if we agree on the atoning resurrection of Jesus, we can disagree about most other things and still be family in Christ. May Holy Spirit give all of us wisdom as we pursue the Kingdom of God together!

I am so pleased for what you said "Craig Luchin". When will preachers and the congregations that: IN Heaven: nothing will be as it was in this Old earth. So You were correct using Rev 21:4. And many other places trying to tell us that it is NOT like earth in ANY way. There will be NO more babies, NO marriages, etc. Because we will be totally a Spiritual being. Wholeheartedly read The Sinners Prayer all earthly desires just got taken away set free from all sin even gave up drinking alcohol. Praise God. Everyone can worship by what they "believe" not necessarily what the scriptures say. I find the scriptures hold much more weight if we define them by what the authors meant to portray and that is eternal damnation.

What is amazing to me about this story which gives us a thorough insight of life after death, it is when Abraham says to the rich man that his relatives have the chance to get saved and escape this place of torment, simply by keeping the word of God. When he says: "they have Moses and the prophets, Abraham is saying that everyone can escape eternal judgment because Moses and the prophets point to Christ, as the Lord Jesus Christ is the pinnacles of the scripture. The core message of the old testament is that man shall live by faith, the saving faith revealed to us by Christ
Since the Bible doesn't promote the idea of life continuity at death, there can be no insight into such. Life after death is a lie spread by Satan. Genesis 3:4. Hope this helps.

People choose sin and darkness, they choose hate, God reaches out constantly to us all , few respond. @@robertorourke6614 I am not misguided at all. My faith is entirely on the God of the Bible and His son the Lord Jesus Christ. If you think that in the end everyone will be saved because God is good and merciful and compassionate, then you are misguided and are missing the core of the Bible which is about salvation through the atoning work of Christ. Everyone can be saved through Him, his name, the blood He shed on the cross. This is the evidence that God is good and His love goes beyond any measure. Have you ever read the 4 gospels. The Son of God is constantly offering mercy and salvation, but salvation from what? From hell, gehenna, eternal conscious judgment. Even if you don't believe it, Hell and judgment, these are core teachings of the Bible. You do not need to argue with me. The question you need to ask yourself is: "am I submitted to the Lord, am I believing in the word of God? So why we have John 3:16 or Matthew 25:31-46 or Mark 8:36? How can you say that hell is a lie when the Lord Jesus spent most of His earthly ministry warning people about the reality of hell? God wants to save all those who come to Him in faith with a repented heart. Salvation is a gift from the infinite love of God. The Son of God said that satan is the father of lie (John 8:44) and the god of this age who has blinded the minds of those who not believe (2 Corinthians 4:4). If you are a believer and a disciple of Christ you need to submit your life to Him and believe in the supreme authority of the Bible. As a matter of fact satan is more than happy to make people believe there is no hell. Hell is real, the Lord Jesus talked extensively about it during his earthly life because He wants to save us from that place of torment. God is loving and good, but He is also Holy and righteous and He hates sin. I am always concerned of going to hell. I believe in Jesus. I accepted him as my savior many years ago. But I still worry about my salvation because I back slid badly a few times, I went through a drug phase after getting saved. I came crawling back to the Lord. I sinned other times and came crawling back. I still to this day struggle with cursing, although I never use the Lords name in vain, I struggle with thoughts of lust sometimes and I find it so impossible to live a guilt free life and I beat myself up over it.
Read Ps 107 See how people in different situations cry out to God and the Lord rescues them all. Different situations where we are in trouble and cry out to the Lord and He saves us; vs 2 those under influence or in power of satan vs 10 those that were disobedient and did not do what they knew they had to vs 17 fools, immoral people with no fear of God who live a continuous sinful life vs 23 those who simply land in trouble or danger through living life or doing their job Read Ps103 also. You have been forgiven.
I will say something of heaven many wont believe, a year ago i had a surgery and while recovering , one night i went to bed and inmidiatly i was standing in front of a wall like gold and it was like a block of icer when the smoke of the cold comes out of it but it was not cold or hot it was a perfect weather, i was amazed by the light and the pure and clear place , i could see like 1000 better and it was like my eyes were bigger and at that time i didnt remember anything of this life or any ones i knew but i could tell i was myself , i knew who i was and i asked myself what is this place while i was just looking up and all arond then i said to myself ,,,,,,what am i here? Inmediatly i was out of that place and i was standing like on a plateform or something in midair i could not tell where i was and i saw something like a big huge white bird with big winds, i got closser to see what it was because i was all confused and that thing was flapping it winds, i was so white and clean like nothing on this world , then from somewhere i hear a voice saying,,,IF ONLY THOSE PEOPLE KNEW THAT I HAVE ALWAY BEING PROTECTING THEM, then i got my eye trying to see the face of it but i could not see because it was so tall that i could not see the feet or head but inmediatly i looked down and i saw that tiny little house where i was born and i felt so great undestanding that what was talking was like something like an angel and beutiful memories came to my mind then i opened my eye back in my bethroom and i was so scared and confused because from a very bright light i came to a dirty and dark room and fear was in my heart and i could not talk about it because i myself didnt know what was happening to me, but i can say there are multiples heavens, one heaven that you remember good things and other where you cant remember nothing. I wish i was never back to this life again but for a reason am back here and i cant keep it to myself,,,,there is a beutiful place that God has for those who loves him and obey him

I don't think he deletes our memories of sin. Because wouldn't that be robbing himself of glory? If we don't remember what he saved us from(both our sin and hell itself) wouldn't we be that much less thankful for what he did for us? I think we remember but it won't cause us to cry.
I believe that the lost in hell will remember the living and them in heaven. But the saved and in heaven, will not remember them who are in hell. Because that will bring sadness and pain and hurt, and the those thing are not , nor do they exist in heaven.

@@tongakhan230 How is the resurrection of the dead confused with the resurrection of those supposedly in Hell? How does one end up in Hell when one hasn't been judged? Is not God a God of rules then not being one that follows His own? Isn't that one of the reasons why Jesus had to die? Rules? The divorce of His own? There could be a remarriage if there were death, correct? Is misinformation treated as if it were a fact? The dead are resurrected, some to everlasting life, others to damnation! Everyone who dies ends up in this biblical hell. Even Jesus ended up in hell when he died. There is no consciousness in hell. Jesus calls it a sleep (John 11:11-14). Jesus was a son of God whom God SENT to be the equal of Adam. Then die in Adam's place to free Adam's children from his imperfection resulting in death. A perfect son of God for another perfect son of God. 1 Corinthians 15:21 For since death came through a man, resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. 22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. This satisfies God's law; 'an eye for an eye a life for a life'. Why would God recreate people and then resurrect them only to condemn them. Makes no sense. ALL the dead in the grave or hell will get another opportunity to qualify for everlasting life on earth. Acts 24:15 shows BOTH the righteous and the unrighteous get this opportunity. Those who qualify under God's government get to remain forever on earth. That was God's original purpose in creating humans. Psalm 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. It is so simple to understand. Why people complicate it with conjecture is not helpful. Hope this helps.
I think if a person goes to hell. They will not only remember everything they did to hurt someone. But they will feel the pain. All of it at once. Constantly.

My opinion is, yes, you remember everything. If God doesn’t leave all your memories intact, it’s not actually you in heaven. The point is for you to go there, not an altered version of you to go there.
If the rich man recognized Abraham & knew the name of one he never met, he most likely knew the name of Lazarus, but in hades the rich man continued in his sin of pride by calling Lazarus "Him" Ironically, Lazarus had & still has a name, The rich man no longer has a name, he is like refuse in gehenna. I think the aloneness will be worst part of hell....darkness, torment...but no contact..only the screams of others. Finished a scifi story today from 1920s meant of criticism of HG Wells' uptopian views...where the MACHINE was worshiped and all our needs were at push of button, we lived in small rooms and we avoided human contact as distasteful. Then the machine broke down and everyone left in darkness in their rooms with no light, food, or human contact even through machines. The author described the end of religion, but they worshiped the machine and prayed to the manual. (this story was meant as a satire, but how many people sit now mostly alone watching screens and punching buttons? And you probably don't even know your neighbors names....)

The mind can play games with people. Just like dreams seam real but aren't. People that have near death experiences or out of body experiences need to be careful . Don't confuse dreams or mind games with God's word. When we die we die there's no coming back. If you come back you were never dead. Maybe close but never dead. The devil will use these near death experiences to fool people . If you believe in these experiences there's no need for salvation. I'm not saying that people don't experience anything. But it has to be in accordance with God's word. Saved or not. Like it or not. We will all stand before God one day. Where we go for eternity depends on whether you excepted God's salvation plan. There's only one way and that's through Jesus Christ Lord and Savior

Yes this is true because when I got shot in the face with a 4; mag my my ex I rated to God in the ambulance well I died fir 15 minutes or I did not lose consisnous I seen colors beautiful. Lights colors over never seen before t was like I was a tadpole I had no body just eyes donemthinf like a magnet was sucking me. To it I had no control but yes but I remember thinking what's up with the Christmas lights it's April when I got there my feet hit the ground I felt it Abd when Jesus touched me and told me everything is going to be ok I felt him touch me amazing death is extraordinary. Hi Gail, I understand where you are coming from. In my humble opinion, reading scripture, I think the ones who rejected Christ will remember but us believers will be so overjoyed being in our Lord's presence that we remember no more those old temporary memories. ♥️🙏🏼

The first question asked will people be remembered is answered in Isaiah 65:17 none of these things will be remembered. Seems to me none includes the lost people.

It's highly unlikely but I don't rule it out entirely. I read an article here that if we did God would give us the grace to accept it with out tears.their are no tears in heaven. Of the comontator is probably wrong
eternal punishment is required for rebelling against an eternal and holy God. When you lie to a mouse, there are no real consequences. When you lie to your friend, there might be some consequences. If you lie to an FBI agent, there are definate consequences. They increase and increase until you work up to the Holy Sovereign and Righeous God. If you die in your sins, He has dictated that is the end of the road for you.

Abraham did not HAVE to know what was happening on earth to know about Moses I am assuming Moses was there IN Paradise with Abraham and talked with him from time to time. As did other people who, like Lazarus, joined them when THEY died and could catch the people there up on current events. CAN they see what is going on here, possibly. But that might not necessarily be proven solely based on knowledge they could obtain from people who arrive and share their experiences. I also would like to know if angels come and visit and share information.

I personally believe we will not know if our loved ones have not gone to be with us, so answering the headline question "No, those in heaven will not remember the names of the damned" if we did, we would not be overjoyed and happy...we would be wasting time thinking about our loved ones who did not make it! But I did not hear pastor say that, He only spoke about those damned ones who will remember their loved ones, and everything else as well!

It isn't so much the word repentance that is the issue it is the definition of the word. To repent is to change one's mind. Now fit that into why some have issues with the word. Possibly because it is ill-defined?
When you were 1st born you indeed were born in the first Adam and Sin ruled over you. But to those whom the Holy Spirit has baptized into Christ hence born again are alive in Christ. So until that miraculous birth takes place, until that incorruptible seed has been planted in a human, the wrath of God abides upon that human.
please define 'repentance'. in the scriptures this exact phrase "repent of your sins' does not exist. yes God says to repent often, but doesn't it mean to turns towards God, while many people erroneously think it means that they need to earn their salvation by cleaning up their lives before receiving it. everybody says 'repent' but nobody explains what that means, why?

Is there an age for children where they are going to be held account for there actions (sin) by christ? Or can they have salvation thru the parent or parents?
Children are exempt from being held accountable because they don't fully know the law. They are not fully developed moral agents, so they are automatically saved. Once they hit adulthood, they are then held accountable for any sin they commit. Come on, God would never send children to Hell.
In Numbers it states that the Israelites who were 20 and above will die in the wilderness so God's judgement did not fall upon those younger than 20 for disobeying God. That's not concrete of the innocence age for salvation and the rapture but it was interesting for me when I came across it.

Repentance is not a law of Moses given to him by God on Mt. Sinai. When the bible speaks of the Law, it refers to that. I believe that the damned will remember the saved. But the saved won't remember the damned. The saved will be in a new heaven and a new earth. True hell is separation from God. Knowing that you can't ever have the salvation plan he offered you.
