today we take a look at one of our tokay gecko breeding projects. this one is our green galaxy tokay gecko morph to our normal tokay gecko gal. these eggs were artificially incubated and now that they have hatched and a new tokay gecko baby is here it is time to bring the little tokay baby back to its parents so they can be a happy tokay gecko family.

This is the most important time I could see this video I have to put my babies with my adult platinum to see if that’ll get him back to eating I literally just put them in his enclosure today made a video about it as well

Large bamboo is what I house mine in. However I couldn’t pull eggs from it.

Dude try lifting eggs off substrate or put in separate cup on dry completely dry perlite, I hatch out satanics and Chahoua eggs with like a 99% hatch rate, and eggs never ever touch moist substrate, remember tokays lay on dry walls that have ambient high humidity, so other than rain, they’re probably never wet!

@@Dakotahblueexotics yeah there’s a great video by leap habitat where one of the founders is speaking to a very prolific Uroplatus breeder, it’s a woman, if you search RU-vid, it’s about an hour long, and they discuss how they had only a 50% hatch rate or lower when they were putting eggs directly on super hatch or perlite, then they started to put the eggs in a small bottle cap filled with 100% DRY vermiculite or perlite on TOP OF EXTREMELY, damp hatch medium with sopping wet spahgnum all around the bottle cap, and hatch rates went up to 99% success! , I’d send a pic but can’t do that here

How fast on average do these tame down if you spend alot of bonding time with them and help them feel nice and safe and in control? Id imagine if you have one from a little sassy baby itd be tame pretty quickly within a few months to a year perhaps? Also i love that you jumped a little bit when the mother barked at you 🤣I've never had reptiles before but id be prepared to put in the time and care they need ( and have a supply of bandaids-plasters on hand)

Thanks for sharing this! I had to incubate an egg that fell and I found it pecked at or something the next morning. I thought it was done for. 1/3 of the egg was exposed membrane. But the membrane was intact and it hatched! Put the baby back in with the parents and crossed my fingers lol

I actually forgot we sold those. They didn't do well in the beginning so I didn't invest much into stock 😅 I'll take a look at what deal we can do tomorrow
