I appreciate the “realness” of an unscripted video! It feels me feel like I’m seeing even more of the real you! Thank you for doing one! I’m struggling with this very concept currently, to market or not to market? I live in a small town that also has a “main street” where stores are housed in old buildings! My target audience is more upscale, not a Walmart shopper, if that makes sense? Not that there is anything wrong with a Walmart shopper, I go there myself every other day it seems! Just my products are intentionally made to differ from products you can already buy at your local store. I want to go all out and be sure to stay on brand and in order to do so, that costs money! Not investing in it fully would be detrimental to my business though I think. Branding is really important! So I struggle, go all in and invest in needed to products to make my booth shine and convey the look and feel of my brand or hold off until I have more of an audience? Any thoughts you have are greatly appreciated. Thank you!! ❤

That’s a great question.. my advice would be, choose one of your products at a time and elevate that one product, educating your customers on it during the process. Don’t move on until you have made all the upgrades to that one thing. For example, if I was to do soap, I would refine my soap ingredients- add a unique luxurious additive or oil and design.. take the behind the scenes footage and use it to post to your customer base on how you are upgrading products for them (send it in an email or post online) and go from there! 🥰

Not really, I've found that it spreads me too thin to try and keep up with Etsy too. How about you? Is it a go-to platform for you?

@@EleveHandmade yea I worried about that too. I started to and honestly it’s still there. Had decent pictures and everything and paid for ads and not a single order so I decided to come back to it later. And worked on setting up a woocommerce store instead

Great video. I'm old school 😂😮😢 I'm scared to jump to the website, lol... for now I sell my soaps ,lotions in person, friends of friends... Churches contacts etc maybe i will try this year 🤓🫣
