I'm actually shocked that expanding the human genome was mentioned without any outraged "how dare you suggest playing God" or "God made us this way and we have no business undoing his work" statements being made in the comment section. I only say that because I literally just recently came across that exact scenario in the comment section under a video that had suggested modifying human genetics/expanding the genome to better adapt people for colonizing other places in the solar system. It was a total war in the comment section (over an obvious hypothetical situation) that went from being amusing to read to straight-up ridiculous pretty quickly. 🥴
At an average -180°C one would need more than just an insulated suit and an oxygen mask, or one instantly doesn't look that good anymore. A wind speed of just 50 mph on the open methane sea would cause a felt temperature of ungodly -266°C (almost the absolute zero) - that's the frozen hamster effect, eh? ^^
You UTTER FAIL to mention the INSANELY LOW temperature the boat IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH would have to handle, ...NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You obviously don't know anything. Don't make a comment unless you have done your homework. If we can skim the surface of the sun we can sail on titans lakes
Skimming the sun is SHORT and NOT IN CONTACT. The probe sent to Venus by the Russians (Soviets actually at the time) survived for about an hour with extreme cooling and insulation at the 400+ C blazing surface in CONTINUOUS contact with the thick atmosphere and ground. BTY this is way cooler than what is skimmed BRIEFLY of the sun. The same is true of extreme cold, not near empty space, but with CONTINOUS contact. Easier but still very likely beyond our current technology. ...also, please don't be rude, and do your own homework!
