I would like to see more Crackdown. Last week I played CD1 after spending 25 hours on CD2. I must say that CD2 really has a nice graphics upgrade. I like the freaks.
I am one of those weirdos that really liked Crackdown 3... Once you pass the first few hours the game is frigging fun. The weapons, explosions, feeling that the city changed... The problem I think it is the game is based on letting the player improve skills to get the real stuff... And graphically, I think was a quite okey game, there are some parts of the city that just looking at them standing were quite beautiful, specially areas with neon lights and futuristic buildings. Overall I can understnad the game didnt fill expectations, but I feel Crackdown is done for a really specific sector of gamers, this is not a third person theatrical game like Senua or GOW, this is more of an old school arcade hit and run type.
I feel like crackdown falls into the "hey remember that awesome game from back in the day... anyways" kinda like Vanquish, Prototype, Timeshift. Fun games with potential but it was either mishandled and the fan base was betrayed or simply forgotten because it didn't break records.
I'd love for another entry. As I've gotten older, I've found a deeply placed appreciation for the story and world building. I would really love to see where the plot was to go after Crackdown 2. IMO, a Crackdown 1 remaster would be great with Crackdown 2's features. Game was perfect as is. Modernization and a PC release wouldn't be opposed however.
I think we will but not any time soon Phil even said he like the world of crackdown and knowing that 3 was sort of development hell since it got delayed and it being mediocre but still fun. So if there will be a four I think that a team must be dedicated to make it
You guys got me and friends hooked on Halo War 2. And to answer your question, Crack Down 1 + 2 amazing. 3 destroyed a franchise. Let’s leave celebrities out of games.
Crack down is one of those cliché video games you see movie characters playing in the background. And I love it for that very reason. It’s super fun as cliche as it is.
For Crackdown 4 I'd love to see Catalina Thorne return since her story was kind of abandoned with Crackdown 3, there could also be a choice part of the story where you can play as an agent of the Agency, but you could then make a choice to side with Catalina or begin as one of her "Envoys" (her version of the agents). I'd also like to see the feature of getting kills replenishes your health and armour from Crackdown 3 as I personally thought that it was a pretty good implementation in the game, but other than that, dismantling another gang would be fine to me, though it could be possible to loop in the Freak virus somehow into the story
What i like about crackdown is the ability to take out gang bosses, i think them focusing more on that and making a cool ass series out of that, this means focusing more on interesting bosses and giving us a massive array of ways to kill them. Instead of making the entire world destructive they could make the bosses tower destructive or an massive compound, take it down a notch and give us what you promised us. I'd also like their to be a bigger focus on story and bring back los murtos gang from crackdown 1 as that was teased in crackdown 3. Im very disappointed crackdown 3 wasted all those interesting villains as i would of liked to got to know them better. The endgame is bringing crackdown back and giving gamers hope and the crackdown series redemption, sadly crackdown 3 is a sitting duck and will never recover but a new series focusing on story, destructive buildings and bosses will help make crackdown great again. Soon im gonna replay crackdown 3 and give it one more shot.
I really hope there will be a crackdown 4. If not, i would like a remaster of CD1 and/or CD2. Its a shame that this game is underrated in my opinion. For all the hard work thats been put in to it: all the collectible orbs, gangs that you need to shut down. Its a very unique game but it just didn't get the attention it deserved.
I hope so. I love them all but I liked 3 the most. There are certain things I love and hate about it but I still love it. I think all of the vehicles are utter shit and are nowhere near as cool as the transforming ones from the original. I liked the quality of life improvements and how you didn't have to bring weapons, gadgets or vehicles back to base. I hate how many agility and mystery orbs there are everything else feels perfect leveling it up. I hate how too much of the city looks too similar
SUcks how I dint get the amount of love and fan base it deserves but I feel like IF they make a CD4 this is what will be: The arm in the end of CD3 I feel like it would grow and make a full agent and then will work as a agent for the "bad guys" and know the truth and we have to fight dif agents and then prob kill the guy who talks to the agents in the end and then no more crackdown idk but I wish we would see more such a fan of it
I can't help but feel disappointed in how much potential Crackdown had after the first game. 2 felt like it leaned way too heavily into the "Freaks" post-apocalyptic concept when 1's ending set up the foundations for the Agency expanding across the globe with their brutal policing. I would've loved to see a different take where the player could choose a side of either the harsh Agency law (similar to the Judges in 'Dredd') or the criminal underworld where they somehow acquired the formula to make their own "Agents" and see the sides duke it out for control of a city.
I'm about 3 hours into crackdown 3 and it's a lot of fun. Extremely repetitive. Story is interesting but they take too long to talk about it in cutscenes.
Honestly crackdown has been bad since 2. The game was all about taking down real life inspired gang bosses suing various different strategies. Since 2 we haven’t got that. I don’t want zombies and robots
It’s annoying that it doesn’t aswell as 2 and 3 doesn’t have much love really bc it’s rated m 1 2 and 3 so because not all parents let there kids play rated m games and however I am amoung that rare amount of kids that there parents play games that are rated m
The word is pronounced ruffian you sound like megamind when you say it wrong as in you don't want to mess with him he's a real ruffian a rough and tumble guy or that biker bar is full of ruffians go in there at your own risk
@@sirmitchy6718 if they make a crisis for than a better apologize for Crysis 3 and say that crisis for will be at least what they advertise with Crysis 3
This game is just trash and the idea of it also make it trash The developers team left very beautiful game similar to monester Hunter world but much better and it was midle in developing and the decided to left it and Develope crack down 3
