Rishe Irmgard Weitzner, a duke's daughter, has a secret: she died at the age of 20 and returned to the moment five years prior when her engagement was called off. She has already experienced this time loop six times and lived out those five years a different way each time, as a merchant, a doctor, a maid, a knight, and more. Now, on her seventh go-around, she's determined to live to a ripe old age and spend it relaxing. But the moment she flees the castle with that decision in her heart, she runs into the infamously cruel crown prince of a rival kingdom, Arnold Hein. He happens to be the one who killed her during her life as a knight, but now, he seems to have taken a bizarre liking to her... and begs her to become his wife. Thus, in order to stay alive and prevent a war, Rishe utilizes her previous experiences to kick off her seventh life as the bride of an enemy nation's crown prince.

She's the only one aware of those other deaths. Can't really blame him for being the cause of her death in previous lives that this version had nothing to do with. Can't hold it against someone for what they _will_ do, only for what they have done.

From the first light novel, that doesn't seem to be the case. Granted there are more books, so more evidence to your theory might show up then, he doesn't seem to be aware of the loop.

Not really. The majority of anime are just glorified commercials to sell merchandise. In that case, it's a light novel. They don't care if you watch the anime. What they do care about is that a lot of people watch the anime and then buy the light novel. The anime itself doesn't generate a lot of profit.

He was planning on breaking up with her in a way that would cause her to cry and give the satisfaction of seeing her heartbroken, except she had time looped so when he broke up with her in this life she just was like okay and turned and left before he could move her to tears. So he's trying to somehow do his plan of shaming her in public which is really hard to do as she's just booking it.

What was Arnold's plan here if it turned out Rishe was just skilled in parkour but not swordplay? What if she didn't have a soldier next to her who she could conveniently steal a sword from? What was his plan B if he was left standing in front of the heir to the throne, holding a bloodied sword, standing over the noblewoman he just murdered for no reason?

He is the greatest swordman in the world and a mastermind He picked up from her body language that she is a swords master, so he decided to test to see if he was certain. He is more than capable of testing someone to see if they are a swordsman by provoking them with a sword without actually causing them harm if they are not a swordsmaster. He also had two swords. She unsheathed his backup sword which was on purpose of him to have in her reach.

Is that the official american/english crunchyroll title? Cause that title doesn't rly make sense considering he only killed her once. Most of the other times she only died as a sideeffect of the war without ever meeting him and atleast according to the sub version she once died even without impact of that war. So your idea of a marriage proposal is attacking someone with a sword and pop out the question if that person can block you? I don't know which is worse; this incident or asking someone out on a date by gunpoint. Gunpoint part is an amagi brilliant park reference.

The line is sorta missing in the anime, but when he first meets her on her escape , he recognizes her combatability and that attack from behind was a test of sort to see if she rly was a trained swordsmen as he believed.
