Communication is such a vague term. You may as well say you could never see humans again. Since, even something as simple as pointing at something is a form of communication. Basically doing anything can be interpreted as intent and thus a form of communication even if the assumption isn’t accurate.

Gaining the ability to speak to animals and losing the ability to speak to humans is actually pretty simple if you break it down logistically: they never stated you can't relearn Human communication. Even if there's a clause stating you cannot, if you show this talent off to enough people, you'll be paid just to be on the internet and live lavishly without needing to speak another word to another human again.

ok at about 11:00 the building jump question: I would take this without a doubt because of the implications of being able to survive making such a jump. To accelerate to the necessary speed before your feet leave the ground would require a ridiculous acceleration; since the distance over which you can accelerate is limited by the length of your legs. Therefore your body is probably capable of withstanding insane levels of acceleration. I would take this power without ever using it to jump buildings because this is a very superhuman improvement to your survivability in general; perhaps you can comfortably withstand 50 g of constant acceleration (just a guess without doing calculations. It is going to be so much harder to die in an event like a car crash, a fall from a high place, etc... and there are probably more relevant scenarios that I am not thinking of. Not to mention your insane leg strength. You probably have muscles that can produce the greatest pressure of any biological muscle on the planet by a huge margin.

When I lucid dreamed it was the most underwhelming thing. When you know its a dream it's just not investing anymore. It's like just imagining really well. You know it's not real and none of it matters. You can see how none of it looks real.
