I pray that Allah(SWT) blesses you with a spouse who is a person of taqwa and righteous children. Aameen. I feel your pain. I'm a Somali woman, in my mid 30s and I never imagined I would not be married and have children by this age. I'm learning to embrace Allah(SWT) plan for me. I'm continuing to make dua for ease in finding a spouse and have children. Nevertheless, It is hard. What helps me with the noise in my head is talking to Allah(SWT) about my fears, anxiety, worries, increasing in my dua, reading Quran, increasing in salwaat, waking up for tahajud and giving sadaqa daily ( even if it is a small amount). Don't limit your intention for marriage to children only. Pray for a spouse that has taqwa that would be a beautiful companion for you and an amazing father for your children. Children need both parents, so pray for an amazing spouse that would also be an amazing father. Pray for a marriage that is filled with love, mercy and sakinah. Because, when you have this kind of marriage, you will be able raise children that are righteous, that make dua for you and also become amazing leaders for our ummah.

Asalam Alyekum. I am 47, turn 48 later this year. I am divorced. No children. The thing is this, there are women i know who have adopted and are not married. And are muslims. I've accepted this is trajectory of my life. Rejection is redirection. Grief for the life you desired and dream a new dresm for your self. Pole for your loss.
Sis you are being way too anxious. You’re thinking too much about the “what ifs”. If you want kids, look for a Allah fearing man and knows the deen so he will give you your rights. If you two have kids, great. If not, then you will have good husband by your side and you can always adopt later in your 50s if needed. Atleast you’ll have someone next to you either way if you marry and have completed half your deen and 10 years of trying for a kid 😏😼. People marry for many reasons. Yours is wanting a child which is natural and it’s a valid reason to get married. Some marry for love, some marry for money, and some marry to survive.
Recite Surah al Ahzaab (chapter 33) regularly. -Recite Surah al Mumtahinah (chapter 60) five times daily, -Recite surah at Taha (chapter 20) and blow breath on a glass of water and drink it. -Sura-e-Muzammil each day once for 41 days.
And your connection to Allah is the most important thing. Kids and all will come when they come and if they don't you still have Allah by your side and who's a better company than Him? If you want kids then ask Allah and leave it to Him. I've wanted something for years and I still don't have it so maybe its not good for me but only Allah knows. For your own peace of mind let it go the way you let a child play outside so the house won't be so noisy and crazy in a good kind of way 😂😂. Just for the peace of mind. Its out of our control

To your topic: Personally I love children and if I don’t ever get them, I will always think about what life would’ve been if I had them. Not necessarily regret it coz I know that it is Allah’s qadr and He chooses who He gives.
Remember the greatest woman Aisha didn't have kids. Stay strong Allah knows best if he doesn't give you he knows the future some women die from delivery or have disabled child its not easy. Trust Allah and dont overthink its from satan to make you unhappy. Love and play with your nieces nephew if you have them as your own children ❤️

Yes I would regret having not children but I also understand that people without children are happy. For some people having children is very hard. May Allah give you a good husband and children Fatma ❤
Allah arhamma regarding your aunty and Ameen to your dua.Regarding the children dilemma.It may be controversial but once someone said to me if you want kids and are serious don’t overthink marriage.If it works it works if it doesn’t qadr Allah.As long as they are sane,God fearing and have some sense of responsibility (strong references) give it a shot and stop looking for a soulmate or Prince Charming.Marriage is always a risk even if you marry your dream guy.Secondly, Back home so many children need a home,there are babies given up at hospitals weekly,vulnerable and desperate for maternal care, a warm safe pair of arms they need what we want to give and provide what we yearn for.I think we all need to take this option and responsibility seriously.
