Tonight I shed tears for my life long friend "Frannie" Mary Frances Mrazek who sang that song so brilliantly until her passing three years ago. Frannie would be 68 this year. I will be 71. This song reminds me of my old friend. Frannie is at peace in Heaven with her sister Debbie and their daddy.

I like her style -- she sings it straight, unlike most of today's female singers who couldn't hit and hold a straight note to save their lives. I find myself coming back and listening to this, and many of her other videos, repeatedly.

I love this music, when girls where girls, when women where women and they liked men, when they could be adored because they could be adorable. My advice too my nieces, "find a man who truly adores you and you will always be happy", of course you have to be loving for that to happen. Music like this reminds me of a time when everything wasn't spilling over with malice and contempt and the pursuit of money. Beautifully done Beatrice, wonderful voice, adorable smile.
