Something to ponder definitely. It's 100 degrees here today with 90 percent humidity. A person that is out of shape would have a very difficult time walking let alone running very far especially with gear on.
Considered minor in the beginning is being bitten by a brown recluse spider. Small circular wound, and then your flesh begins to die and rot away. It's just a spider bite ... yea, take care off even small wounds.
I live in a pretty extreme environment in the mountains of northern Arizona (6,000 feet above sea level). Summers get brutal, so far it's hit 116° this year, and winters get harsh, 3 feet of snow and -5° for weeks on end. Not to mention the wildlife, which is another thing that can kill you. I'm setup pretty well for handling the extremes, but if someone isn't prepared for it, it can kill you very quickly.
I think in most cases the environment can get the job done before the enemy will you can get hypothermia in 60 degree weather with a good consistent breeze if you’re wet not to mention the extreme weather and contaminated water
The answer to that is no.. I've lived in Pennsylvania my whole life other than the 7 years in the marines and shit... I know this state inside and out I know all the animals we have all the bugs all the different climates and weather and being a recon marine vet I am trained in survival and I'm prepared for any eventuality when it comes to weather in my AO
