Prince William and Kate, Duchess of cambridge is so natural and normal . You know you can just pick up a conversation with them. Travelling commercial wow! Princess Diana would be so proud of her son would've loved her daughter-in-law and the grandkids would be pampered to death. But you don't just put your arms around royalty😬
It was amazing then and still is. Both smiled and we: gracious and polite through out visit. No negative press or misstep showed veey best of Royal Family.

How I wish Diana would have lived to see her children make her proud of their accomplishments and achieved the same goals she was for. I get teary eyed thinking how sad she missed out on her sons grown up and with their families.

Diana left the Monarchy before she died. USA welcomes hundreds of thousands of immigrants every year from Canada and all across Europe looking for a better life. Just because of mismanagement by government officials in NYC and Florida, with the recent treatment of migrant workers, it doesn't change who we are as a nation.

So, her air miles is nothing compared to RF members that has been here for centuries and been flying private jets in for decades. But, it is easy for people to hate Meghan. This is probably one of the reasons, they don't want to do Royal duties and opted to be free; and do their own charity work; so they really will not be required to fly private jet paid for by the taxpayers. Now that they no longer are doing royal duties, they are not flying on private jets "paid for by the taxpayers"; but the outrage towards Meghan still continues! Wow!
@1chish Meghan isn't royal though, so it doesn't matter. You cannot have an American citizen who does not have British nationality who is royal. Also the courtesy 'HRH' has been forbidden to be used. None of their children will have the HRH title either. And that is the end of that.
Darling Prince William, giving the bit of the speech we saw here, sounds just like his mum, my precious little girl, Princess Diana. Don't think I noticed that before,and I watch these two boys as if I were their guardian angel, just one who won't get past the Royal Guards.
It is ironic that although the Americans revolted against the Monarchy, there are so very many fans of the Royal Family in the U.S.A. Just another reason to like the Americans.
That was just the Revolutionary War because the British treated us like crap and tryed to rule over us so we threw them out with the Declaration of Independence. Today, the British are our allies.

Thousands of colonists did not support the rebellion and became refugees in Canada, the West Indies and returned to the the UK. Many who stayed had a rough time. There are several well-written books on the subject - all was not flags and church bells.

I can picture Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II & HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, her with a smile that reaches to her sparkling eyes, while he had that knowing, easy grin and was always ready with a quick & witty comment which would likely have been how he knew this would happen, as they both knew this bright boy from birth & how he has always made the so proud. And, His Mother, HRH Princess Diana, always loving & always beautiful would be smiling so brightly the room would be glowing, with such pride of her first love, her beautiful boy, William. His Majesty King Charles certainly is extremely proud & loving of his eldest son & Heir and HRH Queen Camilla, with children of her own have always known William to be a wonderful, loving boy who grew into a equally as good a husband, father & man. His beautiful wife, HRH Princess Catherine, Children HRH Prince George, HRH Princess Charlotte & HRH Prince Louis are so proud at their husband & father, for he is their life,. Americans often get titles wrong when talking about Royalty. It's not hard to follow, but as a Canadian I am well aware of titles since Queen Elizabeth II is my head of state. Kate is not a princess! The title of princess is given to a girl born to a sovereign or to a child of a sovereign (ie Princess Beatrice or Eugine who's father Prince Andrew, Duke of York). An example of an exception is a Diana. She received the title of Princess of Whales when she married Charles. Kate is a Duchess. Get it right peeps or don't comment at all.
Not the men on the line of procession to be King. Junior Royals wear it on the "pinky" finger. They'd have been knighted after military service. That oath pretty much superceeds all other oaths one may take. In short, they are already married to the "church" AKA the people which the bride is a part of.
William is in direct line to the throne. At his coronation he will have a ring placed on his finger signifying his 'marriage' to the United Kingdom. He will also swear his Coronation Oath that commits him to reign for the whole of his life.
I’m curious what William’s great-great-great-great grandfather would think about his descendant stepping on (and since last year or two years ago for the brother, settling on) the colonies he lost and that actively rebelled against him XD I imagine not too happy
