The lecture Aphra Behn's 'The Rover' explores the working of male-female relationships as it highlights the position of women through three powerful women characters. At the same time it offers one a contrast with the male characters who are rakish,relaxed and constantly engaged in enjoying the pleasures of life both in public and private sphere.
Objective
1. To be able to comprehend the position of women during Restoration Period.
