One of my favorite writers... much of what he wrote is actually showing to be quite prophetic, along with the works of Philip K. Dick, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, J. G. Ballard and this very unknown writer of transgressive / weird fiction called Jordan Krall who's written books such as The False Magic Kingdom Cycle, Humanity Is The Devil & Beyond The Great Bloody Bruised And Silent Veil Of This World. Much of the latter writer's work is fundamentally Gnostic and tackles themes related to esoteric metaphysics (something which Burroughs - who influenced Krall - also explored in his works) and the paranormal level of Quantum Physics.
