I'm a trek nerd, and I love both Bill and George. It doesn't bother me in the slightest they don't get along. It's more publicity for both of them. Bill seems like a funny guy, but an ass (which is funny too) and George seems like a genuine nice guy. I also loved both of their trek characters. Funny stuff...
i think george t. is genuine and sincerely a nice guy, i dont think the fame went to his head, he's not eregant or snobby. plus the stern show plays pranks alot on him and he's got a good sense of humor overall, he can take a joke.
Shatner was doing small town dinner theater living in an old trailer when Gene Roddenberry called him to be in the Star Trek movies. Not showing up to the funerals is unbelievable.
@@carrychris2010 Roddenberry died in 1991. If Shatner was working it was only because Gene had insisted back in 1977 that he wanted Shatner back for the films, over the objections of everybody at Paramount.

Him showing up on the set of Star Trek drunk is the stuff of legend everywhere in LA motion picture and television production. When people are mocking William Shatner acting in Star Trek like comedy skits they are actually mocking William Shatner acting while drunk. Meanwhile Leonard Nimoy who had an extremely difficult typecast to overcome of Mr. Spock went straight to another series as soon as Star Trek added no problem. It was as a matter of fact Mission impossible right next to Star Trek. When Roddenberry told the executives at Paramont that he insisted on Shatner returning to reprise the role many Paramount executives had been with the studio back in the late 60s and remember these Shatner incidents very well. They absolutely screamed and protested it took everything Roddenberry had to force the issue and get William Shatner back.Many of the things that are in an actors contract today are there because of people like Shatner and John Belushi. And your correction about where exactly William Shatner lived is the most laughable thing I have read on comments in RU-vid in years. You correct me about living in a trailer by taking his living conditions down to an even lower level? LOL
Howard stated in this clip that he will attend Artie's funeral. Unfortunately I think we're going to find out if Howard was telling the truth pretty soon. Artie's life is out of control
You deliberately distort William Shatner's "I don't know him". The two of you just greeted and how are you's. So how could he know you as a person. You, Takei are a self entitled, petty, mean, lying, bitter old man Shatner has accomplished so many varied things after Star Trek TOS. Prior to Star Trek TOS and following afterwards he was the lead actor in films and TV series. He won 2 EMMYS and a Golden Globe for best supporting actor. He received a nomination for a Grammy for an album. He received RAVE reviews for his albums. Price Line. He won world horse championships. He went to outer space and again you had to try to be mean by mocking and insulting him. He, however, get the better of you like he always does with humour.. He works for 2 charities. George Takei, some of the reasons you hate Bill Shatner, are that you don't have his multi talents, charm, wit, intelligence, integrity, humour and warmth. You would've loved to be Captain James T Kirk, but you knew you lack the presence, charm, wit, glint in the eye of Shatner. How pathetic are you and that disgusting Howard Stern.
Frankly I'm sick of the whole damn fight. Get over it already! your both at an age where you could be dead tomorrow get over it! and frankly Stern if your gonna take sides then stay outta it! All Stern is trying to do is fan the fire and keep it going give me a break!
