Okay, here's a comment: this performance is the best on RU-vid; better than the one of Andrew Litton, in the Proms. (The Proms is rather a zoo, and Litton did his best, I'm sure.) I have loved this suite since as far back as 1966, when most of the commentors on this page were probably still pre-literate! The LP our family owned was of a performance by Walton himself. All the eight movements are absolutely fabulous choices from Bach's opus, and (apart from sundry pieces we sang in choir) form the basis of my appreciation of Bach's sacred / choral music. BWV 26 and BWV 100 are among my favorites. The work from which 'Sheep may safely graze' which immediately follows 'Ah, how ephemeral,' is taken is a secular cantata. It still has pious overtones, but it was intended to celebrate the birthday of the local plenipotentiary, a duke, I believe, and intended to be performed at the Duke's palace. The original tune was sung by an alto, represented in the Walton work by a Cor Anglais. Another favorite of mine is the movement 'See what his love can do,' which is an accompanied Trio, from beginning to end, except that one of the voices is divided up between the oboe and the flute.

This is a quite ordinary composition with certain borrowings of famous baroque musicians. Not bad, not great.

"Certain borrowings of famous baroque musicians"??? With respect that is simply wrong although I suspect you have been misled by the assertion that the music is by Walton. All the music is by Bach and Walton's only contribution was to arrange it for modern orchestral forces and turn it into a ballet suite. It is normally referred to as "Bach-Walton" or "Walton (after J.S. Bach)". Considering Rare Classix Too can't be bothered to tell us the orchestra or conductor it's not really surprising that they also can't be bothered to attribute the music to the correct composer.
