Texas has the best music programs anywhere starting from 6th grade to university level. Fantastic performance.

This composition is where John Williams doned his Henry Mancini hat and totally channeled him. Great performance!

What is the device inside the bell of his saxophone?

It’s a saxophone “mute” and it is used to soften the tone. It cuts out some excess vibrations resulting in a darker tone.

Also helps with tuning and resonance in the lower notes of the instrument
