@@jimboscLOL Mansell shouldn't even be in a sentence where Senna and Prost are in... They guy who lost 3 championships...Piquet's son. And only won the title with a ridiculously dominant car.
Back in the 1990s Williams we're the mightiest team on the grid they were like the Red Bull of the time and the one thing they have in common Adrian Newey the man is a genius
I don't care if the modern F1 cars are quicker... Nothing, and I mean nothing will ever be as epic as 90s/00s formula 1 cars and engines screaming round tracks looking like karts on steroids.
Não tem comparação os carros atuais com os de 30 anos atrás. Podia colocar o Mazepin vs Senna que o Mazepin ganharia sem muitas dificuldades. O carro faz muita diferença.
Senna wanted to race in this 93 car that Prost used, the 92 was Mansel, when Senna managed to drive he took this 94 model that unfortunately suffered an accident, as it took the car to the limit and was difficult to tame.
@@agapitojuliano5517 to a certain extent, you are absolutely correct. The difference is that in 92, the FW14B introduced a proper active suspension...which absolutely blew the competition away. The FW15C was an evolution. And yes it had it's own version of DRS (didn't open a wing, but lowered the rear to decrease drag). But it led to a whole list of bans. Also a CVT transmission...but was only used in testing. Reason why I consider the FW14B the best marvel of technology in F1 is the fact that it didn't cross the line between fair game (active suspension been around since the late 80s) and completely 'bending' the rules to the point of cheating. Looking at you W11 DAS system
Good point. Good illustration of how fast the current cars are. Mix of the tires, increase in weight/dimensions of the car (wouldn't that be slower? - no - not when you improve the aero massively and the weight includes the MGU-H and MGU-K), and those extremely potent V-6 turbos.
Can it simulate the driving styles and personalities of Prost and Senna? They didn't take each other off ;) Kind of obvious result. Car with tech gadgets optimizing the driving can stay ahead of a very similar design without gadgets and a car with a modern hybrid power unit has vastly superior straight line speed, at least in the initial stages of accelerating after a corner. Still fun though.
I know this is just a SIM, but if you really want to know which Williams car is the fastest around a track, look no further than the FW11B. Nigel Mansel described it thusly: _"The (1987) Williams FW11B... nothing comes close to that car, nothing in the world. Really, today's drivers will never know what a proper F1 car feels like. In qualifying, you literally had to go 1500 horsepower... and to have wheelspin in sixth gear down the straight, at 175 or 180 mph... you cannot put that into words as a driver... At every single corner you came to, the car was literally trying to kill you."_
@@bizarroeddie1 " and to have wheelspin in sixth gear down the straight, at 175 or 180 mph... you cannot put that into words as a driver... That doesn't sound very fast🤔 And then you counter that with an argument about braking, which is the very antethesi of going fast😂
@@Coxy-b34 answer the question. Are we talking about formula one cars or dragsters? Gotta be dumb as a door to think that a car only needs a high top speed to be a fast car.
if all driver's in the same car, who would of won? Mansell would of had to of been included in the driver's. So for me, personally. 1st Mansell, 2nd Senna, 3rd possibly Prost. I am an absolute Mansell fan, but Senna took any & every chance going to over take.
It's a lie to make these video game videos thinking that these current F-1 2023 cars are faster than cars from the 90s, current cars are superior in terms of safety features built into cars, at that time almost nothing was invested in safety cars .. Discover in 1993 and 1994 how the Wiilians of F-1 were even faster than the Redbulls of today back etc... F-1 cars have increased in size in length, height, width, they have improved a lot in terms of safety and are easier to drive, but the speed took a long time compared to the F-1 of the 90s, early 2000s.. Because if these same cars from 1993 were assembled, with engines of the time that were completely correct, they would compete with any of the current F1 cars, they would certainly be tied or ahead.
