All weather Kev this man is a legend , I don’t know anyone else who would fit a clutch in minus temperatures huge respect Kev stay safe stay warm my mate
Ohh dear, Ive been thinking about Kev and this weather. He is crazy! Take some days off and stay warm. Its bad for your health. I changed a clutch on my Octavia in January, but the weather was better then this year. Good luck.
@@WMCS hey am mobile mecanic in ga atlanta. I just bought some heated gloves liner from motion heat. I use the m12 batteries that i put in my feont pocket. It have some long wires that go thru your jacket to each hand. Man its worth trying .the glove liners are thin so you put xl orange nitrile glove on it and you barely feel them. We have around 0celcius right now and no kore freezing hands working outside.check it up motion heat liner. Canadian company
Indeed , total respect, but if he intends to carry on doing this job day in day out, his body is going to be f****d, (been there done it , not mobile , but throwing gearboxes in on my back)
In 1987 I changed a clutch outside in snow in Scotland for an elderly aunt on a Datsun Cherry, 35 years on I'm still trying to thaw out. I have so much respect for this man and every time I watch one of his video's I'm convinced he is the hardest working person in the UK. Greetings from Ireland
I’ve just been going through your vids Kev and totally amazed. I work on cars outside the house jack and axle stands. Your work is outstanding and thorough to a detail good vids to. One vid I watched where you done a clutch on a van in the snow I was taken back that the owner never cleared the snow round the van. You got there shovelled it and just got on with it in minus temperatures your a geeza man and hope your customers appreciate what you do. You make it look easy but as we know it’s not. Mate keep doing what your doing as someone quoted in the comments your a LEGEND!!!!!!!!!
Kevin, you are one in a million. How you can carry out such tasks in those conditions, I’ll never know. I have nothing but admiration for your attitude to getting the job done. Fantastic!
Years ago changed a clutch on a HA Viva van for a friend . It was in a small single car garage . Absolute Nightmare sliding up and down the walls to get under the vehicle . Bell housing bolts needed clamping with mole grips on one side to undo . Exhaust system needed to be moved to get bell housing off but rusted solid . It took about 14 hours of blood sweat and tears all for peanuts . Never again .Even though he has got the gear This guy is a hero .
As a kid 40 years ago it was my responsibility to move the jack up and down so that my dad could align the engine &gearbox in his workshop. Back then I didn't have a clue what was going on but only took abuse if I got it wrong. Top man Kev!!
I’ve just found your channel and you young man have my respect your work rate is amazing.Clearing snow to lye on the ground to do a clutch words escape me .
The man is the clutch king out there, nothing stopping him doing his job no matter what total determination to get the job done, worth every penny he charges and more, 👍👌
I've no idea what you're charging Kevin, but I hope your customers appreciate they're getting a bargain having a mobile service in those conditions. Can't put into words my admiration for the graft you put in.
Super jobs there Kevin , the weather dosent stop you buddy, last year I did a vivaro on the gravel car park at work as I couldnt get In my unit due to building work , that was fun , great video , keep the heater blowing keep warm , I've bought a heated jacket for outside working , 9 panels , uses a 10000 miliamp power bank, lasts about 7 hours on lowest setting , a big help in this nice weather 👍👍👍
Someone else mentioned a heated jacket. Thankyou very much for the words of encouragement it means a lot coming from a fellow mechanic. Have a wonderful Christmas and new year mate 🍻🎄🍻🎄🪅
his vids are so enjoyable to watch , great respect for kevin and all his very hard and very professional work, a very tough guy also, cause that aint easy,Kudos my friend
Small blessing indeed Kev, with the the Nissan van (working inside)! One of the only good things about working outside in this weather is, customers/passersby don't stand there and talk to you about things YOU don't want to hear about!!!
Hi Kevin thanks again for the upload always appreciate it your definitely an inspiration to myself I love your mindset The keep going mindset what ever the weather its not going to beat you 👌👌👌 love it 👌👌👌 hope you have a great weekend pal 👍👍
Ken operates like an assembly line worker, as if he's done each of these clutch models hundreds of times (maybe he has!). Anyway, poetry in motion. Thanks for sharing your passion Ken!
Hi Kevin, Well I see that you have had another busy week. I don't know what the worse the snow/ice or having rain. Doing the van in the snow I was very impressed, the Volvo seem to be fighting you installing the gearbox. I see then doing the Nissan you were in the inside which must have been a great help to you even though you had to strip the front end down. Finally, the Vauxhall in the freezing ice/frost again, which must have been difficult in the cold weather. However, yet again you have shown total commitment to your customer's to get the job done. 👍👍
That’s it Mark. Thankyou for watching the full video. The Volvo gearbox was quite heavy and bolt locations were very awkward. (French engine ). I was sure glad to be indoors on the Nissan as the outside temp at intervals was -10
you are a good way from home and in this cold WOW! I hope they give you a good tip and nice to have a ordinary clutch for a change on the first one thanks for the video
I'm sitting here at home in tropical far north Australia watching Kevin replacing clutches out in the snow and ice. It's +32C here and I'm almost shivering watching him work. I sure hope he's at least offered a nice hot cup of tea after he's finished these freezing jobs.
The God father in the clutch world , least it’s going to get warmer for next week Kev , stay warm and you and your family have a great Christmas and new year
The (nearly) lost art of hard work and determination. Clutch work is hard enough on a ramp in a nice warm wshop! Net Zero commentary is a nice touch too.
damn. it actually snows in UK???? thought it only rain.. LOL... but damn. doing clutch job outside with snow on the ground.. you're a dedicated mechanic!
Kevin Albert Williams you are definitely a dedicated man. Yours are the very best RU-vid vids on Clutches very in depth and detailed. Happy Christmas by the way.
missed this one... was hid under a blanket staying warm like a softy !.... dude you rocked it on the snow job 🌨☃️🌨☃️🌨 hope you had a Great xmas and all the best for the new year kev 🙂
Saudações do Brasil!
you are an absolute legend and master at your craft. I have been watching you for a while and I am amazed with your work. Merry Christmas and thank you for your uploads.
This guy is amazing and worthy of the highest respect ..I do mobile work locally on all cars in all weathers and I know how from experience how hard he works!! Just one question what the hell does he do if he's given the wrong parts 90 miles from factors??
This guy is like a well oiled machine the way he works.. Its almost like he isnt even thinking about the job and is just on auto pilot, its just too easy for him. Not only that, to have the mental and physical toughness to do it in such weather conditions takes some doing. Deserves every penny he earns.
Said it before but see this bloke his mustard!! I do my own bits and pieces on cars more so hobby' his work ethics are on a different level 'all weather self driven to crack on got skills I would ❤️ love....top macanic proper tools 🔧 what ever he charges " you know it will be a quick quality job 👌......
Hello Kevin. I see that you do not leave at all, the heat, the cold, the snow, the rain, it is always present on duty. I'm glad you brought that heater on the battery, so it keeps you a little warm. I wish you sports at work and I follow you with love. Greetings from Romania!
Just to work under the car and remove the gearbox etc this guy has the strongest muscles in the neck! I work sometimes like this under the car and cant lift my head anymore after 5 mins 😂
Been off watching for a while but glad I’m back Kev! You are an inspiration to all matey! Doesn’t matter the weather your still getting the job done! 👍🏻🙏
