I had a chance to see Willie Hutch in person and met him back stage after the concert. he was the most wonderful, talented and humble person you could've ever met. His recording are timeless. his music will live on and be enjoyed for time to come. you younger generation listen and gleem the wonders and appreciate the passion this gifted man left for our enjoyment. they'll never be another.

Awesome. It's amazing how many of his records/songs have been reimagined and revitalized by new generations. His work on The Mack was timeless, and Hip Hop took his barely Gold records and made them multi-platinum.

I'm glad that Memphis embraced his music and gave his work a solid home base.He deserves that. I know he has fans everywhere but I feel that an artist of his caliber doesn't get mentioned or played with the greats in the main level. One of the smoothest soulful voices I've ever heard; one of the greatest arrangers and some of the most unique compositions. Willie Hutch is among the greats; bar none.

Just to further substantiate how prolific and talented Mr.Hutch was , too many folks are unaware that The Jackson 5 were making there first appearance on The first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show ; Mr. Hutch was asked to write a song for them to perform .......It became one of their biggest hits ( I'll Be There ) . This me & my baby Matthew Song I remember listening to this with him almost 5yrs ago our first night we spent together/morning my hair was all sweated out kmsl , but 5yrs later I’m still in love with him even tho we have our differences but he’s my first love & I love him to death.
