Nowadays, when you watch these so-called 'talent' show, you hear the judges say "You took that song and you made it your own". IMHO Willie Nelson is the one true star / legend who does that. This song "All Of Me" is the perfect example of Willie taking an old song and 'owning' it, right down to his boot-straps. Willie is one of my few all-time heroes, if you hadn't already guessed. His voice, his lyrical phasing, his guitar solo musical phrasing, all set him apart and he truly deserves to be named as one of the greatest of ALL TIME. I could listen to him sing a train time-table, it would sound soooo good.
