I enjoy your videos you put out good content.
You are correct on the upgraded grip modules. Armory Craft is good as they offer the weights etc, Armory craft is more expensive. I bought the Sig "Honeycomb right from Sig-cheaper than armory Craft. In adition, Optics Planet is ver well priced, also cheaper & free returns. I have used that feature. Whatever you do, the 365 really does need -depending pn the preference of the shooter upgrades. I like the FCU unit Sig has to offer. Great video-Thank you-take care.
Will the Armory Craft grip module fit holsters for the 365 XL? I have a Vanguard VRG2 (I think) trigger cover holster and love it and want to upgrade to the Armory Craft but don't want to lose compatibility with this holster.
The second pistol you want thicker you can add a rubber grip slider from palmetto state armory look it up hogue rubber grip it may work about 12 dollars
You are so right on the P365 series of pistols not being durable. I've had to send in both my P365 & P365XL back to Sig 3 times EACH for repair. I think the Sig 938 is similar to the Kimber Micro 9. My Micro 9's durability is much worse than the P365's and it kicks harder than either of my 10 mm pistols. Hurts to shoot it. Good luck if you're buying it.
@@spnfirearmsthe Kimber Micro 9 has bad durability performance? I’m looking for a small 9mm carry pistol and debating between several of the popular pistols. P365, Kimber Micro9, Hellcat. What would you choose?
My lady has a Kimber and she's had a horrible time with it. She shoots a pistol probably better then me but with her strength it has a failure to eject due to recoil. It looks nice and is fun to shoot. But I'll vouch for your comment
Wilson combat in my eyes defeats the purpose of having a nice conceal carry gun what the p365 is known and design for. With the WC grip, the Sig is no longer not noticeable wearing it even on a 8 hour workshift. Especially with the huge beavertail. Other then that it feels amazing. I put it on my fun custom P365 instead of my everyday carry! Great video!
I have a P365X (standard slide, XL frame) with a Wilson Combat module and I pocket carry it occasionally with no issues. It’s not recognizable as a pistol in my pocket, I can draw the gun easily and the Desantis holster it rides in stays in place.
I’m gonna disagree to a point. The 365 is almost to small for some if not many and going to the slightly larger WC module I doubt takes away from much concealability unless your wearing tight fitting clothes. The larger grip also makes for a easier shooter and and still lighter than a G26.
@dmw3086 I understand and appreciate the conversation. I got a small collection of firearms and for my everyday protection my choice is for pure comfort, reliability and design (fieldstrip and cleaning) and with me and my lifestyle being a big dude with 3xl mittens, doing construction and also possibly sitting in trucks that require a CDL for hours and hours. These small details really stuck out to me. WC is cool, feels great in my hand is an easy affordable mod. Everyone is different also lifestyles, for me it actually matters more. I do have WC on a fun rangeday P365
@AkiraFollower spends more time in your waist then your hand tho. Try wearing it in a day of trucking, or construction type labor or a simple long car ride. You're bound to notice it more. Completely defeats the purpose of the design. Even if it's a little. For me it's quite abit.
I really want a P365XL! Have you ever tried a (if they make one) Large grip module? I contemplated for 2.5 years before I got my P938 Legion... The extended seven round mags have a different baseplate than the regular versions, I like the look better but I would have to remove the beveled grip extension to use them, I'm still thinking about that...
I have a 365X(XL frame, standard slide) and two TacOps (XL slide, X-Macro frame). I took the slide from one of my TacOps and put it on the XL frame and did not like it at all. The balance of the XL configuration just feels wrong to me. The TacOps feels perfectly balanced, as does the X version; the standard slide on the XL grip module feels even better balanced than the original 365.
I liked my XL -- switched to the TACOPS grip for awhile. For a service pistol it'd be perfect. It solved the windage twist when working the trigger. Lately the brevity of the XL grip is my preference for carry / home defense -- will be getting a Hogue grip for it. Pretty sure that's gonna dial it in.
Find holster clips that allow for tucking your shirt in or look into the neomag system that clips into a base you put behind your belt. If your jacket will be on whenever you need to be concealed, owb at 4oclock with something like the t-rex arms iron side. They sell a hybrid backing that allows you to wear that one IWB. But in the OWB config, it sits really snug to the body and a suit jacket or any light coat will conceal nicely.
a good video but just like so many other pistols, once the manufacturer comes out with them, people want to change it up, that’s cool, i’m gonna leave my 365 as is, just added a reddot. If i want a thicker grip, I’ll just carry the GOAT, my glock 26 which is my edc 99.9% of the time anyhow!
I love my old metal Sigs but have heard to many horror stories on the plastic guns. I know plenty of ppl had great luck with them but plenty had bad luck too. Both of your 365 look great
