Wilson NBA Official Game Ball in 2022-2023 Season, Is it worth buying? 

yup i totally agreed with you. the leather basketball just shot better than composite no question about it.

I was discussing with a friend about this and came to this video. And this is the first comment. I ball on sundays. I've been saying personal I don't like the feeling when I shoot. But everyone is saying the ball is good for them. And make it the go to ball.

i bring two basketballs to gym everytime. one is whatever ball i need to do a review on and the other one is whichever ball i feel like playing with that day, the luxury of having multiple baskeballs.

Yeah that’s the thing about leather basketballs you neither love it or hate it. I think if people spend sometime play with it then they will appreciate the leather balls. To most, leather basketballs leave a bad first impression.

I feel the same way. I hate the Evo ball after playing with the official NBA balls. I call it the S.I.S.I ball. Soft. Inconsistent. Slippery. Inaccurate.

Yeah. I hope so too. I’m not gonna get another one until Wilson resign another version. Now is already 2 seasons. Maybe they will in 3 more years. We’ll see.

They did. The one I bought is from the most recent batch available and my rubber seams are very solid. No peeling or cracking and showing no signs that it will.

thanks for the love. To me, Nike Hyper Elite outperforms the Evo Nxt for sure. However, one of the most significant disadvantages of the HyperElite is that it becomes dirty very quickly due to its design. Aside from that, it's a fantastic basketball.

For now here is a list of a nice feel basketballs: Baden Elite Pro, Wilson Evolution, Adidas Pro 3.0, Tarmak BT900, Wilson NBA Game Ball, the Rock C2C, Nike Elite Championship.

I like Spalding game ball better because spalding has better quality and a little more weight on it.

I used leather conditioner on my newer leather basketballs.

I don’t have too many leather basketballs, I have maybe 6 different leather basketballs. I would go with Spalding nba ball, Wilson nba ball and molten bg5000. The reason Wilson is not number one is the quality, it’s not as good as Spalding and also slightly lighter than Spalding.

We all need basketball that has the most forgiveness when it hit the rim. Take advantage of the situation.

Depend on your money situation and what type of basketballs you prefer. If you a lot of money then yeah buy it but if you’re right on money then no don’t buy it. Also if you like softer feel basketballs then you won’t like it. Personally I think 200$ is too much.

You are the rare breed bro. Hahahaha. Not too many people want to play with this ball, I would say 8 out of 10 would say no to it.

no need for custom made. my wilson nba ball is 75 out of 100 and my wilson evolution is 4 out of 50. but i might get a custom made if wilson update the nba game ball next year.

no it won't get that soft like the evolution or evo nxt.

for the wilson and spalding official game balls should have nice bounce and better bounce than the wilson evolution if you have them at 8psi. Sometime it could be the court too. I have played at the second floor basketball court that is not too regulated and playing there doesn't give a nice bounce or a true bounce like playing in high school gym on the ground floor that met the rules and standard from basketball federations/associations. or the one of the balls you played with could be defected.

You might have defected ball. 8 psi is a recommended air pressure. Also keep in mind that this ball doesn’t bounce good at beginning. But if your doesn’t bounce at all then most likely you have a defected ball. Contact Wilson and exchange for new one.

Both have two different feel. The bg5000 is softer almost like the regular composite basketball even though it’s a full leather ball. Wilson nba game ball feels like the Spalding nba ball just lighter weight. If you ever played with the Spalding nba game ball before then the Wilson is very similar to it. Rumors has it that wilson is working on redesigning the nba game ball. But the nba players hate new ball so We will see next season.

Always have liked genuine leather basketballs.
