Yes, isn't it funny how we find ourselves drawn to things that were never of interest when we were younger. I now love any kind of walk, nature, church etc which would have been lost of me back in the day

Ah you made me so nostalgic for a ten year period my life when I used to live down in Wiltshire in a small village not far from Swindon. We used to visit all the places you went too and actually my sons first birth was celebrated at the Cotswold Wildlife Park! Happy Days, it’s a beautiful area with lots of pretty places to go and visit. I feel like the outlet village in Swindon was one of the first really good outlets. I used to walk round there when my son was a newborn, grab a coffee and stroll because it was so easy to walk round with a pram. Looks like you both had a great time. Thanks Freya ❤

Such a Gorgeous and Enjoyable Vlog Freya . Thanks for sharing and vlogging this trip. I enjoy seeing you 🙅‍♀️and Barney🐶out walking and exploring the countryside . Love Sailsbury and Stonehenge Wiltshire is a lovely place stayed there when visiting some friends of ours. hope you guys had a fab time. had to smile when Barney looked at you with those sad eyes saying mum why can i not have some. so cute. xxx

Lovely video in some nice places. I think the some of the TV series Cranford was filmed in Laycock. They put sand on the streets and altered the shop and house signs to look older. Elizabeth Gaskell the author lived for a number of years in Knutsford with her aunt, and she is buried there. I think there is photographic museum Fox Talbot? In Laycock. Opposite Salisbury Cathedral near the grass where Barney was running is a stone coloured house, and I was told that Edward Heath a previous UK Prime Minister used to live there. I think you showed the Magna Carta also inside the Cathedral. The cottages you stayed in looked really nice. Will check out the next vlog. Thank you for this one.

Went on a trip to Salisbury years ago with a bf. We went to Fleet Air Arm Museum en route for his benefit and the cathedral and stone henge for mine 🤭 Salisbury is lovely. Was nice to see it again! 😍

Aw great vlog as always and so lovely to be able to take Barney along with you. The fire cookery course sounds really good so hope Tom picked up lots of good tips for your new outdoor kitchen 🙂 We started watching Baby Reindeer last night which is very good but gets very dark as the series goes on!! Looking forward to your Cotswold video next - I vaguely remember going there many years ago when our children were small but it's probably over 40 years ago so no doubt a lot different now 😁

I drive through lacock daily, as mum and i live either side of it, you should off visited Castle Combe whilst you were there, The war horse , Doctor dolittle, The wolfman and stardust were filmed there.
