That blue Alpidex board is like the one I had for my first board when I first started SUP. It was surprisingly decent for an inexpensive Amazon SUP board.

That looks amazing. I just got my brother in SUP we are looking forward to heading west towards Weymouth in the summer. Chichester is our local canal check it out they have great pubs too should you fancy joining us 🤙

Have you ever gone a bit further up? If you go as far as the weir you can stop for a pint in the Coventry Arms. Nice garden with those clear plastic dome things you can sit in.

Sorry for the slow reply, look at Eye Bridge Wimborne on the map. We started here and turned around to come back.

I didn't realise there was any public access to the Stour, aren't non tidal waterways private? I assumed that's why you can't go past the bridge at Tuckton 🤔🤷‍♂️ Looks a nice paddle all the same 👍

Mark, there is public access to many non-tidal waterways. A notable difference is that tidal waterways don't require a licence to SUP or kayak whereas on most non-tidal waterways a licence is a legal requirement.

@@rickcadger2553 Agreed, but most of the ones with access via license appear to be canals, not just random rivers. Thanks for making me double check, I know better now 🙂
