I love it when you can’t tell if it’s plumbing with a little conversation going on, or a conversation with a little plumbing going on. Either way, I love it. Keep ‘em flippin coming. Steve!
I love your channel Steve and got a good laugh when the water hit the ceiling. Your videos are educational and entertaining rolled into one! Hope the customer's kitchen is dried out by now.
I have adopted your saying anytime I work on something nasty....."She's a crusty one Mr. Grinch" !! Had a few of them lately......No vent on that P-trap and it's an S- trap....No good Mr. Grinch....LOL My 2 family home had kitchen sinks like that so I added AAV's on both. I don't know if my town allows them. Saw an old house in my neighborhood with what looks like a vent run up the outside wall from probably a kitchen! The AAV's work fine for years with zero issues...
Had the same problem once found that years before someone dropped a brass screw into the supply line and when the faucet was on it had poor flow and when it was off the screw would drop to the basement.
this video MAY be helpful to me.. in the future... Wimpy kitchen faucet. I'm supposed to be doing that @50. Iron well water no softener just filter. 💚 Thanks!
When you are in for a vasectomy before they shave you just tell em: take all the brush you want, just leave the timber standing. Colonoscopy's theme song: shine your ever loving light in me.
@@johnphillipsplumbing7148 This is a true story. The last time I went in for a procedure, a scope down the other end, I noticed something stuck on the wall above the table. One of the doctors or tech's put a brown donut on the wall with a note: "In case of an emergency, break out this fiber donut!" I'm thinking see, these mo-forks are laughing at us while we get this BLEEP done!
I just had the rotor rooter thing & i only had to drink two 12 oz bottles of some sick shit tasing stuff for oneday. Two days wow they really wanted her rim cleaned out
He has "hard water" for sure. I think that's what I read some point. It's High concentrate of magnesium, calcium, potassium. Mineral water buildup over time.
@@TheRAMBO9191 It should violate all plumbing codes, but I have not read them all. It violates physics. If you fill the sink up with water and then drain it quickly, the water will create a siphon and pull the water out of the P-trap and allow sewer gases back in the house. To prevent this the drain pipe is connected to a vent that provides air and breaks the siphon effect. Some locations do not have access to a roof vent, like island sinks. My brother has one in his kitchen. They make a venting device that has a check valve to prevent water leakage but allow air to vent the sewer pipe. I personally did not see the device my brother installed because it is under the sink and awkward to get to. I find it strange that a plumber missed an oportunity to make another easy sale; I can’t explain it.
@@stevenlavimoniere Not everyone is looking for a mess to clean up when it could easily be cleared up without the fountain idea. You do great work but lots of times you leave a mess for your customers to clean up that wasn't there when you began the work. If that's your way, no problem but there's really no good reason for customers to have to wonder what kind of mess will he leave this time. I guess it would be best to leave it like you got it. The tongue and groove wrench on brand new chrome fixtures and fittings is another dissapointment.
Colonoscopy=A "Shit Show Video". That was funny, Steve, what you said to the scope guy. The nurses all thought so too. The tech does not blow into your gazoo when it is finished to check for flow; but they have been known to introduce a bit of compressed air to inflate those pipes for a better view. I have heard that the fizzy crap that you have to drink beforehand is the worst part, according to my neighbor. But I recall some of those late night lawyer ads announcing class action lawsuits for patients seriously harmed by the some of these fizzy prep solutions. Alka-seltzer for your ass!
Its a Delta. I thought i try some decent. Haha. In my country something decent will cost min. 350 bucks. Atleast thats what i payed for my faucets. About 1500 bucks for the kitchen, toilet, bath and bathsink. Like a waterfall and in the kitchen some electric on and off thingy.
We can shut our own main shut off outside at the city line I have a tool for it(dad was a plumber) & most plumbers will shut it for you,no need to call the city $120 charge if you call them
