im not a yg stan, im not at all interested in yg music, i feel like they're just too loud and overrated, but when i accidentally saw winner tv, i fell in love with Winner ( i didn't even know they're from yg), not just with their talents and looks, but with their amazing personality. That kind of personality is what will keep them stay long in this cruel industry.. plus their debut album is just amazing.. you'll feel the connection in every song..i'll forever support WINNER.. they're the only Kpop group i like.. Leasseable Lee I agree with you. It seems like all Kpop really sing about are love or breaking up. I mean, there's nothing bad with that but it gets boring and lacks creativity when that's all they sing about. Not only do I like SY's compositions but I absolutely love the lyrics the other members have contributed in "Go Up" and "Smile Again." The lyrics are uplifting and optimistic and I really hope that they continue to do this.
This is so good to hear in earphones full volume. The melody is so good. On top of that, it gives me hope so much. They are like AKMU, in a sense that their music heals you.
What really moved me throughout WINNER's (Team A's) songs in the competition, was that their compositions were never *just* about themselves. -- *Officially Missing you* was about their battle with Team B; about how this competition was changing all of them, and how they missed their old, carefree selves. -- *Smile Again* was about how even though the stress of the competition (or just feeling down in general) was getting to all of them, they shouldn't let the stress take their smiles away or bring them down. -- *Don't Stop the Music* (their dance perf.) was about them and Team B continuously being pit up against each other, and how even when they wanted to help each other, the help couldn't be fully received because they were battling for the spot to debut. -- *Go Up* was about them AND Team B going up together, as the song stated -- "Pointing up with a 110 fingers," meaning all eleven of them, not just WINNER. No matter what would happen; they would continue to go up *together*. Not to mention KSY's words of, "I don't want to win by having to step all over my friends hard work." I also really liked Team B's songs. But most of their songs were about just themselves. I'm not calling them selfish or anything, because this IS a competition -- but WINNER truly made me feel like they were all in this together. That even if one team won, the other wouldn't get left behind or loose worth. I'm really glad Team A won, and I'm so ready to support WINNER with everything I have.

I don't understand korean and when I first heard climax I cry of how they put their emotions In it and I didn't feel much for this song but after reading the lyrics I felt this song breaks my heart knowing they're selfless and just wanting to go up with team b. my heart broke reading the lyrics of bobby in climax but that's he's journey and bi said he's own journey . This song show all of them together down this path that they share and help each other to go up
I think 'Climax' is come too late. It in the end of the show and time for vote is up. I think it's the best song of the show but it's only 1 song I love from Team B. even it still have spotlight on Bobby and B.I like other song from Team B.
I agree, 'Climax' was perfect for the last round and so was 'Go up'. Both teams did their all and will continue to grow even more. Both teams fighting! (Always wanted to say that xD fighting! )
I really liked Climax, and I found it playing over and over in my head for a long time. But, while it was catchy, I think this song is a stronger composition, in general. Plus, it helped that Winner's vocals are quite a bit stronger than Team B's, in my opinion. I'm hoping that Team B continues to improve, and that when they debut, they'll be even stronger! I'm a Winner fan but I support Team B all the way too :)
First, people compare teams not only with the last songs but other songs and performances, and personality as well, which Koreans value. Winner comppsed 2 songs in WIN, one of smile again, and the other is this song. While IKon fell in their own.desperate feeling, Winner sang for hope and for everyone's happiness.including Ikon's. Winner's music is mature, hiding their pain behind and instead sang for others. Also Winner's music is more unique. I think people valued more of Winner'sstrengths than ikon's .
Wow~ I'm dazzled with their debut, their album is waaay too good for someone who just debuted. They really caught my attention, so I decided to watch WINNER TV and fell in love with these boys even more. Now I'm watching 'Who is next?' And I'm still on ep 4 and I totally empathize with them. They were SUCH underdogs x.x to the point I started questioning 'how the hell did they win this thing?' (Even because papa YG was clearly B-team biased) Then I found this and I got my answer. That's why... Perfect song and performance.
I completely agree with you their album is amazing. They're the most unrookie like rookies ever!! And yes B.I. helped compose empty and that is cool but I don't get why people make it sound like B.I. is the key for their album's success because they have many other fucking good songs on their album which are self-composed. there are many reason why I prefer Team A than Team B, even though I support both IKON and WINNER First, Winner, each member has their own personality, which cannot be mixed. So when I first watched WIN, I could recognise and remember each of them quickly. And each of them has their own impression on me Then, their vocal line and rapper line are something that I am also considered. Each of them has a different types of voice. I could easily recognise which voice from which member. Honestly, at that time, their voice are weaker than now. But, the most amazing things when they decide which line for which member. Their voice supports for each others and moreover, each member's voice is highlighted. It was so impressive that I don't think they could not make any change in dividing lines would make this better Thirdly, I don't know why but I feel Team A more sincere. It's not that Team B is not. But, when I watch team A I could understand how they feel. I remember that Jinwoo said he didn't want to destroy others future. That's moved me a lot Next, the best part about them is their music. All of their song are special. "Smile Again" and "Go up" are the songs that I believed that it's the best choice we could have when we are in failure. When they performed, the listeners and viewers can engage in it. They make us more confident and believe in ourselves. Their songs always deliver something called their feeling and their thought in it. But when my fri is a ikonic and she forces me to watch this to like ikon. but i fell in love with those boys.I watched some parts of the show and they developed quickly. their music is very good.Mostly i like boy droups from their variety but they shook my heart with their music.They still are doing a great job at music.I am so proud of them

hmmm I didn't watch the show because i'm not really into yg .. but i love winner since their debut album (i only know them since then, not from the show) .. but recently i started to like ikon so i started to check their oldest songs and all and that's how i came across the show final songs ...I just want to say something lol team b's climax was not *get the fuck off we're the best* .. it was one touching amazing song .. i wouldn't say it was better then team a's but seeng how people are describing it as a song of selfishness and arrogance or whatelse i feel bad for them .. they really did great job in it ... and it's not just BI's .. bobby's kicking off was perfect, dk's piano, junhoe's vocals .. everything ... i wish people would stop degrating artists work just to prove their fav were better

When I was watching WIN two years ago, I was quite biased on team B because of their hip hop style and such. But then I decided to watch WinnerTV and found out how truly funny Team A is. Just wow. When I rewatched WIN once again, I can clearly see how they won the survival program. Their music is just soothing

i watched this after i saw team b's performance for climax.. team b's performance was definitely more emotional but after hearing the lyrics for both songs, i think both are very meaningful and are filled with all of the trainees feelings. tbh the only reason i went to youtube and searched up the performances of the teams was because of bobby and bi (im currently watching show me the money and was interested in them) but ive got to say, i am offcially a fan of both teams. i will definitely have to start watching WIN aha. personally i like team b's rapping but i reaaaally like team a's vocalist, the guy in the fedora hat, his voice is really charming and captivating. cannot wait to see more from both teams :)

they were ready to debut and people in Korea loves them. They maybe not really popular internationally, but they are very really popular in Korea and they have good image to the public. -Yoon (winner’s leader) was even ready to debut as solo artist before he joined win but he chose to become a trainee instead and debut in group. - Mino was almost debut with block b, it means that he have experience before. He also debuted with bom although the group disbanded (the company used mino’s skill to make album without paying him. It was pretty sad. I’m glad that he got out of the company) - Jinu was the longest trainee. His trainee group members gave up so many times that he had to change group to group but he never give up. -Hoony catched yang hyun suk’s heart through survival shows. He also choreographed dance for winner (also for GD). His creativity in dancing is unbelievable. He always create dance that have meaning into it. And you can see now that winner is doing pretty well. They are more mature and they have no scandal. They have good image. The public loves them. They also are known as the most polite and kindhearted idol (even SuJu sunbaenim loves them 🥰). So whoever said that people only voted for them because they are old. You need to get to know Winner better. You’ll see why people loves them.
Came here because i like iKO's song, love scenario just 3weeks ago (Im not into new kpop group last 5years so dont know much about iKON and WINNER)Watch their weekly idol and their appearance in running man. Then watched this survival show. But end up liking WINNER more. Their unique characters each of them makes me love them so much. And of course both groups have their unique colors and talented but i into WINNER more. Currently i watching their youth over flower. So interesting!
yea the LAST performance. I didn't like Team B/iKON much cause they don't have much stage presence to me (except for Bobby, I always notice him ;). I watched Mix and Match before I watched WIN and they still didn't have a lasting impression on me.
This is just my opinion. I am an Incles and an iKON stan right now. But I think that Winner gives off more 'YG Aura' than in iKON. iKON is better in dancing than Winner but Winner is more powerful in vocals. I can say this because somehow hate me or not I think that iKON have some 'typical boygroup thing with them' not all of them stands out like Yunhyeong(i still love him though, Donghyuk and Chanwoo. However, in Winner I find them pretty unique and I can distinguish their voices easily. P.S IM NOT STARTING A FANWAR OR ANYTHING THIS IS JUST SOMETHING I OBSERVED THOUGH.

jung hyu I'm a InCle, but I like IKon and I totally agree with you. Winner has something unique in the vocal line, Mino and Hoon are good rappers and compositors. Team B has a lot of big bang things and it's not good at all, a lot other idol male groups try to have big bang things too... looks alike so many groups... I'm a YG fan because the artists has so much personality, a group who is alike other don't make me feel "wow hes can perform a senior song" make me feel "hmm, same style, next"
jung hyu I agree. I can tell who is who even when I'm not looking at the mv, each time i hear them, the difference becomes so distinct. Initially I didn't really like the album s/s, but i wondered what made people attracted and I kept listening to it, and I soon got addicted to it. It's like my current daily fixed and I just find myself tapping to the groove. I think iKon mainly seems to have a thing for ballad slow songs and yet classy, while Winner catchy songs catch my attention, just my opinion but both groups are good. I'd say Winner's songs cheer people up while iKon's songs touches the heart of the people.
Group gives me a very "BIGBANG" vibe. Hell, one member even looks like the lovechild of GD and Taeyang. Not a bad thing, just found it an interesting thing to note.

B.I is better than other members . but they are a group. i dont think its a good thing for a group if some one better than others. When i see team A i can feel a sense of teamwork. Its also a reason why i like Winner.

I am so happy that i realized they become a better version of themself now! Hoony is rapping now with his original unique voice, not trying hard to be rapper with hoarse voice, Mino is getting sexier and had his own swag now, Jinu's expression when singing is way more soulful now, Namtae now is happy out there without burden of being an idol :'), and lastly our leader Seungyoon who's already a good singer now more recognized by having 6 times wins on KOMS. I will always love them 💙
