In this video I present the Winbook TW700 Windows 8.1 Quad core tablet for your approval. While this is an unboxing video there is also commentary included from a couple days of actual use of the tablet.
Not a bad little device for 69.99 Including a year of office 365!
Note that the photo in this demo was taken in good lighting, in low lighting quality degrades greatly.

Great video. I just picked up a couple of these (one for me and one for the wife) of Amazon too. Arrived last night. Kind of hard to use as I have big fingers. Fortunately I have a ocuple of styluses for my phone. Overall though, so far, I'm kind of impressed. On downside, is that the 16GB is misleading. There is only 8GB "accessible" and after getting Firefox and AVG loaded I'm down to 6GB. But still... with the available ports that can be dealt with.

Glad you liked it! Yeah, I have big monster fingers that make it hard to use -- I usually just use a mouse. I wish Microsoft would allow installation of store apps to the SD card (they used to allow it in 8 but took it away in .1). That said standard desktop apps can still be installed to SD. (I installed office 2010 to D: and it worked fine). Oh, watch updates -- I had those eating a couple GB worth of data. Still -- hard to beat for the price!

Retr0rob Thanks for the heads-up on the store apps. I haven't used 8.1 before this. My wife has it on one of her laptops, but only because it was preloaded and she is adventuresome! I'm stil running 7. One thing I was pleased with was with software I use with my glucometer. Pleasantly surprised at how well it ranon this little jewel. No hiccups or delays. Even downloaded my data faster than expected. I'll have to try moving that to the SD card when I get it. .

Cool. I can't imagine using Windows on a 7 inch tab. I have an 8 inch Windows tablet and i can't use it. I just got a 9.7 windows and android dual boot tablet and it's better but it's still not quite perfect on the windows side. I think double tapping icons is the biggest issue though. If my finger slide a little the app doesn't launch. It's kewl to have it on a tablet if i need more than just android though. The tablet wasn't $69.99 though. That's a sweet deal. Are you gonna try emulation or just use it for a professional device?

Mostly to play games: 7 inches is really small for getting any real work done (Although I do check email). More importantly the usable storage on the thing is TINY! While I can install desktop apps on the SD card Windows 8.1 does not allow the installation of Windows Store apps to SD: Bummer.
