You’ll need to get the shackle conversion kit from American trucks and get rid of the tow hooks i did that to my ranger looks 100 percent better and especially on yours with the winch

How is the brakes compares to a car in stopping? Does the ranger have mushy brakes?

howdy! The brakes ARE a bit mushy and soft. I have a 21 ranger fx4. I have easily become accustomed to it. I have a fox/deaver suspension with shrockworks skids and rock sliders, plus a camper shell. with this added weight I do feel it a tiny mushy. but there is total control and no feel of lacking stopping power. hope this helps. This is a great video to see how the hidden winch is. I reckon I will do the same.

4 1/2 minutes of parts removal, then the winch and mount 'magically' appear already mounted at 6:43. Huh?? Sorry, but this is NOT an 'install' video. Hope the winch works well for you.
