I have a little question, in past videos when pulling a lorry, why is it that you have take out the halfshafts/center driveshaft? Can’t you just put the lorry in neutral?
@HeavyRecoverywithSteve

Hi Jonah thanks for watching , we have to disconnect the drive to gearbox to safeguard and potential damage as per manufacturers instructions . Even with manual gearbox and in neutral or engine idling the gearbox internals want be lubricated sufficiently.

They generally have to come out as they went in as you will well know but that was an awkward pull. If ever there was a watercourse that needed culverting that’s it. Definitely not truck friendly access. I’m very surprised the banking didn’t give way and create a very difficult situation for you.
