Have you heard of the .240 spectre? It's a less heard of " winder 6" focused on high b.c. bullets. 105 nosler rdf @2650 fps from a 24 inch barrel is the heaviest load shown from sbr ammo. It's the smallest of the Marty Ter Weeme cartridges(..500 phantom,458 socom,.375 socom ,.338 spectre and .240 spectre) should do very well . Everything he makes is super efficient and works as intended. While mainly intended for the ar-15 , it should do pretty great ina bench rest rifle...or truly accurized ar-15 ,which is all but forgotten now...with the right steps an ar Can compete with bench guns. Lapped in lugs, rigidized blue printed upper, blueprinted barrel extension and shimmed in receiver threads , enhanced barrel nut that supports the chamber, ect.

I shoot short range as well as 600 and 1000 yard competitions. At one time I was running several different cartridges. A couple of years ago I simplified my life down to the 6BRA and 6PPC. Besides the 6BRA is just as accurate as the 6BR and has a couple of extra gears speed wise. But a 6BR wouldn’t be a bad choice for this match.
My opinion on the dasher is it’s overbore and throws shots. That is my unvarnished opinion. But there are guys out there that shoot them very well, and they fervently disagree. But the 6BRA has been stacking up 600 and 1000 yard records in Benchrest.
