Rod - Douglas DXF 11'6" switch rod 8wt Reel - Redington Behemoth 7/8 wt - 625 grain skagit throwing head - Fly line - Cortland 20 pound backing, a couple of different colors, so I know when I'm about to get spooled
Why do you keep holding your reel? that’s the whole point of the drag, I see a lot of people do that and creates a crazy amount of drag. Let the reel do it’s work.
The behemoth has the best drag in it’s class I have the same real once I dialed in the drag tension it’s was on point what were you using beads jw I fish there as well sometimes and was just curious on what you were hooking them on ?
Some guy in your hole... then carry on to another hole. If I was that guy and saw you move in because you think it's your hole, I'd tell you to look around. All that water and you have to come fish beside me? If you're a true fly fisher, you should know the etiquette. Hopefully it was your buddy.
