@Dahen Zana Hello Dahen, I would like to ask the diameter of the copper for the rotary and inductor I measured mine, and gave me 0.47 for armature and 0.61 for the inductor(also same pws 125 a1 angle grinder). How much is important to stay on the same gauge? Your videos are very helpful to understand how proper winding is done. thank you
I have a Parkside Angle Grinder PWS 125 A1, and I notice that there is vertical play of not more than 5mm in it's spindle, rotor moves either way ( up or down ) and overall it is working fine even the spindle lock, I just like to know that it is normal to have such vertical play, is it some kind of fault or company built it this way because it doesn't have any horizontal play, but my cousin's grinder doesn't have that vertical play that's why I am bit worried, can anyone help please
Hello, Thank you for vidéo. I have almost the same grinder Parkside PWS 125 F5. Mine is almost new. I have a strange problem with it. When it is cold, it works normally. But after a time of use when it gets hot, it refuses to work if speed selector is not at 6. And sometimes, it refuses to work completly. If i wait a little time like 2 minutes, then it works again at speed 6 and if i wait a little longer, it works at speed 1. I already changed the brushes and the interruptor, but it did not solve the problem. If you have an idea of what the problem could be, please, let me know. Thanks. 👍
@@brk932 Thanks for your feedback. I tested the armature (rotor) with multimeter, and it looked OK to me. The resistance value was constant between each track of the commutator and the resistance of each coil of the rotor was constant also, so i can say there is no short-circuit in the armature. also the rotor does not look damage or burned and the commutator was ok. With the vernish on rotor and stator i cannot say for sure if it is made of copper or aluminium, but the machine seems much lighter than my other grinder (makita) which have less power, so there is a high probabilty they are made of aluminium. Sometimes, brushes makes sparks but not always i think. And when it runs, it smells a brushes smell. Also, the wires that go to the stator from the electronic board look very thin to me considering the power (1200W) of the machine. The wire of the armature looks thin, but i cannot say if it is abnormally thin. I will try to change the electric feeding of the machine and some wires. But if it does not work, i will give up. Remake the rotor winding would be too complicated for me. Regards.
@@brk932 It stop very quickly (like 5 seconds) when it used to grind or cut. When it works without load, it can work longer (2 minutes or more) To me it look like the machine stop itself when high current are absorbed. (When it starts, and under load)
