Hi, fantastic video & great review. I have this bike in red, I put a 6000wt kit on it with a 60v battery. Sur ron handlebars & nobbely off road tyres. It's my dream bike now, ride safe brother 🙏
How is the end price 1599.00$ but when I went to the site and I put in the 50 dollars discount it and check to check out just to see how much it would cost altogether it’s giving me a total price of $877.99 with free shipping in the US.
Just ordered this bike if you find away to make it faster please let me know I’m also going to put a dirt bike fender on it cause this honestly reminds me of a electric dirt bike/surron
If you want to make it faster, change out the rear wheel/motor assembly with something like a 1500 watt motor one and get the appropriate motor controller/display package for it. Before you do, though, try the bike out under conditions that you plan on riding under most of the time. You may find the power is acceptable for you. It goes fast enough to hurt yourself with. Trust me. I almost broke my shoulder the other day on a trail. If you get used to timing when to pedal to assist the motor when off road and on a steep grade, you can get by and climb many hills it otherwise wouldn't climb under motor power alone.
The rear shock is not adjustable as reviews claim. Bigger front sprocket to eliminate ghost pedaling and bought those 3" riser handlebars. 6'2 and 240lbs. Handlebars are a must if your tall.
Anybody who has one of these bikes or many similar lower end Chinese made bikes is undoubtedly familiar with the flaw in the front suspensions on them. The fact that there is ZERO rebound control. This produces a loud bang or knocking upon rebound from large and even moderate bumps, the type you typically encounter on off road trails. The good news is that I've figured out a very cheap and effective hack that pretty much fixes the problem, at least 90% or better. What you do is pick up some of those heavy duty black rubber bungees and on either side of the headlight, string a bungee between the lower fender bracket stanchion which is on the movable section of the forks, and connect the other end to an appropriate point on the stationary section above. In the case of the E2 I connected top of the bungee to the top section fork head/crown. On my other bike, a amyet style bike, the top side goes to the top of the handlebars. Rides nice and quiet now with no negative side effects. The bungees I used are approximately 10" long give or take, and come in a multipack from harbor freight.
I just came back from my first long trail ride test with the E2, and it was like riding another/higher end bike. So quiet and smooth! It was an absolute pleasure in comparison to before the bungees were put on.
I purchased this bike and used your Amazon link for the handlebars. How did you attach the throttle to the new handlebars? Were you able to remove the nut inside the factory bar and install again inside the new handlebars or do i need a new nut? It seems like its pressed in. Removing it will definitely damage the factory handlebars and possibly the nut.
I like the style of these type of frames, it kinda resembles the Ghost Cat F3 Ebike. but GhostCat is of course way better quality, more powerful but it’s also 1000 dollars more than the bike in this video. But I would love to get my hands on a frame and do a complete overhaul and make it more powerful than the GhostCat.
@JNJ4EV turn down the wheel size slightly it will trick your controller into thinking the bike is going slower than it is. That may give a slight boost.
Looks like you're posting a lot more. 500W? That's it. Your last video was extreme in power. I like the wheels. No worrying about broken spokes. I have mag wheels on my mid drive bike.
@@ENDOPRYSMyt I agree except you will lose your awesome rims. When I do mine, I am going to go tubeless and have a front wheel that matches. Not sure if I'm going to use Grin v6 Torque Arms or have custom ones. I have custom ones on my 1200W Ebikeling conversion and am getting a matching front wheel for that one soon. My mag wheels have never gotten a flat tire and have hundreds, if not thousands of miles on them. Used them pedaling without any motor and with the mid drive motor on them. I tried the tannus armor but too much trouble to install.
Hi I live in spain and want to knowif you can change from MPH to Kilometers. Also can you change the top speed to a lower speed, say 25 Kph for legal road use.
Yes, you can. Enter the settings screens by long pressing plus/minus buttons at the same time. Then enter 1313, using the +/- buttons to scroll thru menu options and use the top button on the right side of display interface key pad ( above the headlight button) to lock in choices. Stay away from options 9 and 10. If you change them, motor will not turn on and you will have to change it back.
Hi so I think 52v is not too far off from 48v so there is a chance it will work. But there is also a change it may damage your stock controller. I would also look into upgrading the controller and motor as well this way you will get more speed and you won’t run the risk of blowing out the old electronics. A 52v motor wheel for a fat tire e-bike should run you around 2-400 and a upgrade controller maybe 100. Just make sure the controller comes with a display.
@shotbybayo goes like 26 so it’s ok speed. I think when your on a trail. The speed is pretty good. I would recommend cutting the pedal assist wire because it makes the bike Handel weird
@@ENDOPRYSMyt cool man thank you for the info, I wanted a Suron but this will have to do for now one more question and I’ll stop bothering you lol is the distance good? I’ll be traveling to and from work on this want to see if it boasts the 48 mile range like it advertises
