My Settings home page does not include all of the ones that yours did. Is there a reason why or could I set up my settings page with more options? I don't always know what to search for.
I am 77 & my daughter has been trying to educate me with all this, has done a decent job because I was able to grasp you some of your tutorial but I will have to listen to it a couple more times to actually remember what was said. Thank you so much.
If any one want to change for not knowing nothing to how Windows 10 work,,,, THIS IS THE VIDEO FOR YOU!!!!!!!!IT IS JUST INCREDIBLE how he explained everything so well.THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS!!!!!

I will be 67, have learned, forgotten 3 processing systems (Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 7) and appreciate this tutorial on Windows 10 during our Covid lockdown when I cannot attend a class. Seriously, I have gotten as far as charging my new laptop and now I have great optimism on how this functions. Thank you very much! I also appreciate you listing additional videos for my continued learning. No ambitions though to be the IT director!
I wish I had watched this sooner! I have two new computers I purchased only because they had windows 7 or 10 when I wanted to upgrade. I have held out all this time with Windows 7 because I heard 10 was awful. Tonight, I finally very reluctantly put Windows 10 on. To my surprise it was not as horrible as I was expecting. So, since I already recently subscribed to your channel I searched and was thrilled to see you have a beginners one. It is perfect for me and my husband. I like your video because you don't talk too fast or too complicated for someone like us. You also don't go on and on. Thank you!
I have ordered a new desktop with w10 pro , I'm sure I will watch this and some of your other videos over and over . Anyone remember 95 and 98 man life was good in those days .
🌿🌺🌿 🤗 Thank-you, really appreciate this video.👍👍 I'am 68 years young. And this is my "frist" laptop. I've never even had a computer. Just 2 1/2 year s ago, my husband and I just got smart phone's. We, just Subscriber.👍👍 Don and Donna, in Northern, Nevada. 🌿🌺🌿 🍃🇺🇸🕊️🌎🕊️🍃
Hey Mr, I'm not sure if you're going to read this but... I just wanted to say " Thank you" wow! Basically not only you helped me a hell of a lot but the fact that you got straight to the point instead of going on and on before you even showed us all. YOU'RE awesome !!!!
Even though I use windows 10 for more than 4 yrs, there were things that I didn't know. This video is helpful for all windows users. Thank you for your hard work.
hey, thank you for your tutorial, I am switching from windows 7 to windows 10, and i have watched this 3 times so far, and appreciate the time it will save me.....thanks again !!!
I’m a Mac guy. I have Mac everything. I needed a PC. It came with Windows 10. Had it for a few months now, and still can’t make it do anything in depth. This video is going to help a lot getting around. Thanks
Thanks for the intro to Windows 10! I just ordered a new Desktop to replace my now 10 year old Dell Quad Core. Moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10 may not be the horror show I thought it was going to be. Looks similar to navigating around a smart phone.
i never thought i would say this because im a windows 7 geek, but since i felt forced into using windows 10,i actually am getting used to it,but also watching this video made it so much easier,so im glad i switched ,but if i ever find out windows 7 is coming back,im getting in line to wait lol
Yes sir .i was 50 didnt know anything about computers.but like you my daughter jen sat down showed me what to do .i didnt know how but took some notes that she told me to do .the first step was to drag and drop my music in a file to download and save w.t.f. haha but i learned to do it.have windows 7 on my Toshiba laptop but upgraded to Windows 10 .and yes still taking notes but much faster .just remember to close your apps so it. Does not run your battery down. Thank you jimmy p
I've been searching for instructional videos for my parents, who struggle with computers. You provided some great information that I think will benefit them greatly. Thank you!
@MI 6 Thanks but I hung on as long as possible. I got a notice that Windows 7 is being discontinued and I couldn't even get a new computer with it. I hate 10 already and miss my Windows 7.
THIS VIDEO IS EXCELLENT! I WAS LOSING MY MIND AFTER A WEEK OF NOT BEING ABLE TO DO MANY THINGS WITH WINDOWS10. I IMMEDIATELY CALMED DOWN AS I HEARD HOW THE INSTRUCTOR WAS EXPLAINING THINGS. I WILL BE WATCHING IT MANY TIMES TO TAKE IN ALL THE INFORMATION. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! MY NEW LAPTOP WAS ABOUT TO FLY OUT THE WINDOW, AND I DON'T THINK IT WAS PROGRAMED FOR THAT. LOL
Very educational. I'm 70 and trying to update myself. My new desktop will arrive in a week. Can't wait to look at the video and set up the computer. Looking for a remote job. Thanks
direct and to the point with language I understand.. recommendation: when demonstrate tope move cursor slow especially for senior citizen like me...Mahalo/ thank you
Thank you for a clear step by step tutorial. I am ADD or ADHD or some kind of learning angle peculiarity. I am very literalistic. I can follow precise instructions. I get lost when someone who is too familiar with the material they are teaching skips steps they assume the user is familiar with. Most instructors are really not instructors for beginners. They only repeat information they are familiar with. You have a pretty good sense of understanding what the novice needs to be able to follow you. Keep up the good work step by baby step.
Sorry yall are struggling, but happy to have company in this switch. Not pleased at all with giving up 7..and 10 is not making it easier. Thank you, Tech Gumbo for these videos. I have a feeling you will be my new friend. lol
I am only watching this video because I am buying a proper gaming computer, instead of getting a $2000 MacBook Pro ever 3 years (still a good laptop) I think it's time to move on to better gaming software, and this video really helped.
thank you so much, i have learnt more in the last five minutes of watching this video than i have on free online course! so pleased to have found this.
I really enjoyed your LEARNING Video on windows 10 no longer a Computer dummy being corrected at every turn illiterate no longer. Thanks beginners guide I really have to listen to your video more than once to grasp an better understanding of what i just was learned .
One of the best tutorials I have watched. Thank you for spending half the video talking about what you are going to talk about. I really like your organized step by step approach.
This has helped me a lot, I'm currently a Windows 7 user and have been thinking a lot lately of upgrading to 10, at first I thought that it would be very confusing, but you have explained everything perfectly, and now I feel confident that I can use 10 without much trouble, there's a lot of similarities between both systems, as well as some features that aren't available to 7 users, which I'm excited to try out. One thing I did notice is that the old windows 7 games that were pre-loaded have gone, which is not that much of a loss as I hardly play them.
THE VIDEO WAS NICE. YOUR TUTORIAL WAS VERY CLEAR AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND. I'LL BE WATCHING MORE OF YOUR UPLOADED TUTORIALS ON WINDOWS 10. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.!
Glad this is still here today :) Thank you, just what I needed. I’m finally leaving Apple and just got a new Windows PC. Now to learn it all... Oh, thanks for the playlist.
Thank you so much! I’ve used Macs my whole life because my dad thinks PCs are useless for home use, but I finally convinced my parents to get me a windows 10 pc gaming laptop for my birthday, and I’m really good with computers but I still wanted to make sure I knew everything I need to know to use windows 10!
I believe MS invented tiles because of the idea that the technology was moving in the direction of "touch" devices. Plus as an older individual who has vision issues, right out of the box, Windows tiles are larger than most icons and easier to fully see.
Thanks for this windows 10 tutorial, i am big on 8.1 and have been searching for a laptop 14" display with win 8.1 for under £500, but they are like the mythical loch ness monster. So now I'm afraid i will have to go with the flow. Why in gods name do windows keep changing, like as soon as i got use to XP, it goes to Vista, after that i bought a new laptop with win 8 which i straightaway upgraded to 8.1 and got use to it and actually liked it, probably because i know my way around it. Oh yea, between all that lot there's the android tablet and smartphone. Once again, many thanks for video, you explained it clearly and simply which was exactly what i wanted. I have given the thumbs up and made a note of your chanel so if i get stuck on anything, i know exactly where to look.👍👍👍
Apple is SO much more intuitive, than windows. That said I really appreciate the effort and time you spent making this tutorial. I am and old dog and struggle with new tricks. Tech support for Mac is also way better than Microsoft. Just my opinion.
In some ways, yes Apple does things a lot better than Microsoft. However, I strongly despise the fact that Apple goes to great lengths to prevent you from repairing or upgrading your own computer.
Well done this was exactly what I needed, I will be watching it a few more times simply because I don't grasp things as fast as I used to. Thank you very much for producing this tutorial. I will be checking out your other videos as well .
Excellent TEACHING style from beginning to end. Makes it simple to go from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 pro. I took back 3 of the Windows 8 computers. I HIGHLIGHTED and saved all your Windows 10 RU-vid videos: AGAIN we all appreciate your TIME and EFFORTS to PRODUCE these works. One writes for the thousands that do not because of time and sometimes they are leaning toward being an introvert and slightly bashful.
I'm alrady un eggsalint speler so I dint kneed tha spel chek thang. Now, I finally know how to set a reasonable restart time for my laptop. Thanks, TechGumbo Guy!
I'm still new on window 10 home but this video is life saver to me. Like my laptop eating me alive because some setting is different to me (previous PC is XP and 7). This is great help on this video. It simple to understand and not to long since because some other videos is a bit to long and eventually. I go to sleep, since I'm bit going old. GOOD JOB! :)
I have a windows 7 pro rn (It's from my homeschool) so, after I save up for minecraft, I'm saving up for my own laptop. I like windows 7 but, I know I wont find one so, this helped. Ty
I have a windows 7 pro too but when YOU are updating do not save non of your files because it say something is wrong with it I just update for it a few minutes ago
I own and iMac and I am fed up with Apple. This video will be a help for me I believe my next computer will take me back to windows and this will help me very much. Thank you!
I've been hearing that a lot over the last year that people are getting fed up with Apple and the lack of attention given to their computers and macOS.
