You say "Click on HID compliant Touch Screen device" but you are actually clicking on "HID compliant consumer control device ". It's very confusing. If they are not the same, (which is probably the case) your video is just causing viewers to waste time.

Running the hardware troubleshooter fixed it for me on my Surface Pro 7 running Windows 11. Touchscreen randomly quit working (no updates of any sort involved, just quit out of nowhere) and I was having a hell of a time working out what was going on. I'd already tried reinstalling the touch drivers and the touch device itself, restarting, rolling back drivers, etc and nothing was working. Thanks for the video, my man.

I bought flex 5 6 months back and for 15 days the screentouch is not working until i enable and disable the wacom Device in device manager... After enabling it successfully it is not working in tablet mode... Already reset the laptop but nothing makes it better Please reply what can i do

The touchscreen of my HP pavilion used to work, now it does not. After trying to update the driver, I discovered that there IS no driver for it. It is part of the Windows 11 operating system. However, the touch screen is not working, and since there is no driver to fix - it seems that the only way to get it working is to roll back the operating system to a version before Microsoft screwed it up - or wait for Microsoft to fix the problem (which will be never).
@@WindowsReport It seems that the drivers for the camera and touchcreen of HP Laptops do not work in Windows 11, and HP doesn't give a damn about putting out updated drivers that do work. Lesson learned, don't buy HP.

My screen on my Lenovo laptop had to be replaced. After that, touchscreen didn't work. I was so upset! I did what you suggested and it worked. Thank you!!!!!!!!!,,,..............................................., btw, I don't recommend Lenovo. Their customer support is beyond rude and not helpful.
You can use DriverFix, or search for the specific drivers on the internet. Type in your device model and then look for Drivers on its official website.
followed step by step and did not work. Touchscreen still not working on Lenovo. Randomly stopped and the PC is less than a year old!!Core i5 10th Gen. Bought NEW. ++ as of today - TOUCHPAD stopped functioning as well!!
I have the same problem! I have the same computer and my Touch Screen is flippin out! It detects touches all over the screen and like spams it, it goes nuts and starts a buch of random apps. This PC is junk
@@ornakirsh6802 I really don't understand how the touch screen is so terrible. Maybe it's this model in particular, or maybe there was a bad batch of computers made. I only had this computer for 2 years, and suddenly it became almost unusable. I'm very disappointed.
@@ctstarbeam SAME! I don't know what's goin on with my Lenovo I bought this laptop especially for the touch screen feature, after a year and a half the feature have disappeared :))...
It's crazy how everyone with this Laptop seems to have the same issues, this is really disappointing for Lenovo, I'm never buying one of their computers again
