I just got this today my TPM Specification sub-version is 1.38 I have windows 11 home Version 22H2 and I found this warning today but when I try to access my settings for Local Security Authority protection it tells me that the page is not available and "the page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available"
@@hajoura_ so I checked my BIOS and it says that my TMP is infact on in spite of what windows security's says maybe this is an issue on the update but for now I am trusting what my BIOS says over windows security's this may not help but check in your BIOS and try and navigage the setting to find TPM and see if it's on or not in spite of Windows security I hope this helps
When I click on the Security processor details, I get: "There is no TPM available. Please check your BIOS settings." does this mean my TPM is turned off? how do I turn on/enable - if that is possible for me to do? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you! Same story here with a i7-7700. I don't take risks on Windows 11; I use linux for more risky tasks. I understand I may have to go back to 10.
My system that isn't ready for Windows 11 (no TPM 2 chip) still works without any flaws on the very latest Insider Build. I'll go back only when I'm forced too and I doubt that will happen any time soon if ever.
I fixed this in bios. I went to security and then trusted computing. Security device support enabled with TPM device selection on PTT. Make sure you get a save window pop up when exiting. It may very well work. Did for me. I hear many motherboards are disabled by default. If your not familiar with bios... find your motherboards (model and make) hot key for its bios. Turn the pc off and turning it back on while pressing that hotkey over and over until it pops up. Use keyboard arrows, enter, esc accordingly...
These instructions are things to should be done before you upgrade to Windows 11. My video was directed at those who's computer doesn't meet these requirements.
I have the same issue I have the yellow triangle on and my computor is designed to run windows 11 if I click on it it will not open if I right click it will give me options to open windows defender and everything works I rang my computor man who I bought the new computer from he told me that it’s only happened since the last update of windows 11 and he himself had the same issue he told me Microsoft are aware of the problem and will remedy the problem in a later update
Your repair person is correct. There is a glitch which is annoying for those that have systems that can run Windows 11. Microsoft is working on a fix. That isn't my case since I'm aware that my system is not Windows 11 ready.
