I've been using Windows 11 Pro on an unsupported hardware My Specs: 16gb RAM i5 5th gen my experience has been really good so far. it was said that unsupported hardware won't get updates but I've been getting updates frequently and they have improved the overall experience of using windows 11. the battery used to drain very fast in the beginning but as I received updates, it got better than before.

bro i am using windows 11 since july 4 from starting 22000.51 and i am running it on a 12 year old intel pentium laptop 2gb ram i am not experiencing big issues such as windows crashing i am using mem reduct so my ram is using 56% there is some lag while opening explorer and browser but i am happy with it

I’m using on a 2nd gen i5 with no issues and I’m getting updates. I wonder if Microsoft only tested it with recommended specs and just didn’t bother testing it on the thousands of older configurations for cost reasons. Legally they would be obligated to say it works on these specs but not supported on others even though it does.

Drag and drop is not there in supported pc too. But you can drag then press alt+tab and choose the preferred app you want to drop to drop in that app

I have I5 4460 8gb ram 256gb ssd.. Its really very good experience. My pc became buttery smooth and its better than windows 10 for me... Optimization is very good in windows 11 ....

Just note that you have to install graghics drivers yourself performance is abysmal on an i7 6600u 8GB ram out of the box but works with a 20% penalty on performance on average compared to windows 10 my supported hardware also has a harder time running windows 11 than 10. I510300H 16 GB of ram and rtx 3050 ti laptop. Installing drivers fixes for the most part everything.

after testing in this new patches the windows feel more hmm laggy in terms of opening things or games or software but is not a biiiiig lag just a few 0.8 seconds.

I'm using win11 pro on Dell Inspiron 5558 , 6GB RAM, 5th gen i3 , 2.0 ghz processor.. no Tpm no secure boot... It's quite fine..but so much time required to update ..otherwise no issues.. but if you multitask , sometimes laptop freezes for a few seconds..nothing more than that

I use a Lenovo IdeaPad 320-IKB Laptop with 8 GB Ram and an i5 7th Gen Processor which has TPM 2.0 but no support for the 7th Gen processors. I force installed the OS and experienced BSOD issues frequently and got no OEM based driver support updates. I only tested 21H2 Update and not the latest updates. Right now, I'm back to my Windows 10 and all if working fine. To my guess, the issue is from the OEM. I Hate Lenovo anyways.

I wouldn't recommend installing it on unsupported hardware stick to the windows 10 11 has bugs plus I tried to install windows 11 on unsupported hardware (i5 2nd gen) for a week or two I didn't face any issues getting updates etc... then after a certian update I started to get unusual BSOD sometimes system randomly shutdown due to unknown reasons ended up installing windows 10 in the end

Ngl I don't trust these kinds of youtubers when it comes to this stuff. Just gut feeling. This is a warning for people who dare to attempt upgrading to windows 11 on unsupported hardware, Don't, Updating your computer is about 5 times more annoying/difficult otherwise if there was an easier way to update your pc, Yeah I wouldn't be making this edit here. (This is because you're unable to install updates your computer. Because of the hardware requirement block) you point out this 0:25 about incompatible CPUs (which aren't when I've researched) ("Intel i5 and i3 10th generation processors are compatible with the Windows 11 operating system") That's why you're having no issues... This maybe because of being made in February 14th and we're in October,

Did a quick research yeah nah you've not precisely shown any proper details such and such proof of being on unsupported hardware nor the transitioning of entering windows 11 through such and such bypasses for someone being English their second language. (Obviously) I'll make it short and sweet.
