Any idea why the sequential disk access read / write was different at 2:23, 47MB vs 56MB for Win7 Lite ? Any way to remove the Winsxs bull so it doesn't waste disk space like crazy. Just after installing a few SMALL programs, the Winsxs is over 6GB. But the programs themselves were WAY less at about 450M ! Why can't it work like XP and run the same, there is little speed improvement from XP to Win 7, the only improvement I find useful is larger hard drive support and Windows XP 64 bit had that but ONLY on an external disk. They limit the disk size on purpose !!! And now many programs that ran on XP won't work at all ! You are forced to buy the "Ultimate" version to use the XP virtual machine. Windows XP is limited to 2TB ON PURPOSE ! NTFS supports 18 EXABYTES as in 18,000,000 Terabytes ! Nobody should have needed to upgrade for hard drive support ! And Windows XP 64 bit supported GPT file system too ! But FULL NTFS and GPT was left out of XP 32bit and not fully supported on Windows 7 either, as in you can't BOOT from a larger hard drive ! What bull from Microsoft !!! A way of getting more money. If if wasn't for the hard drive issue I would still used XP or Windows 7 ! That is why the "free" upgrade. Notice they have removed all the old images for Windows 7 and XP from many other site so people can't use them !!! People complain to Microsoft !!! Only if every has massive complaints will they ever do something. Like the Windows 8 and 10 cell phone desktop that sucks ! I use Classic Shell just to get back my old desktop.

Windows 7 Lite has less to load, so it loads faster. BUT. Yet that the fact that Windows 7 Ultimate loads slower, it has both more to load AND it can run better graphics. I think out of the two, Windows 7 Professional would be the best.

Windows 7 Lite is like this. Windows logo is only available on Windows 7. You are not allowed to run poweron.exe. You are not allowed to use hackpoweron.exe. You are not allowed to repair and hack Windows 7.

Honestly, I might even consider using Windows 7 Light then, because my 2013 rig is starting to slow after running Windows 7 for its whole life, and I think this may run a bit better on my system...

The Windows 7 Lite startup technically is incorrect. Why, because the Windows 7 original needs more stuff to process during the main startup.

he probado ambas versiones y me quedo con la version de windows 7 comun. porque? apesar de que la version lite corre mucho mas fluida, se le han quitado cosas que hacen que los juegos funcionen correctamente. al tenerla sin recortar tenemos todo a mano y corre perfecto. solo recomiendo la version lite sino la usas para juegos,sino para trabajo.

I use windows 7 lite 32 bit ( 600MB .ISO) and it works wonders for me, it downloads all the necessary drivers for gamre and this excellent I love it windows 7 lite better

You cheated .. try to reinstall windows 7 ultimate and compare with windows 7 lite , dude windows 7 is better windows now , and will be better in next 2/3 years , because windows 7 doesn't need a 9k $ gear , w7 need only a 1.9 GHz processor , 2 gb ram (ddr2+) , 16 gb Hdd space (for windows , of course) , and a minimum 128 mb video card .. i dont need windows 10 because , i dont need outlook , mail , etc , in w7 you have only essential programs , if you need another programs , you can download it , that's it. (In my opinion)
