Here we are, with the finalized intro for Season 1! While not much progress has been going on with the game at the moment, I have been working quite a bit on refinements.

I'm not going to lie but this is such an amazing intro! But I think the main screen looks little empty and little generic. Unless you want it to match old rpg games main screen which is matching at this point. I have that idea where 98 being like a playable character in the desktop and jump on the start menu so it shows up (like the regular start menu in windows 98) and 98 jumps (climbs) on each button representing the same buttons that's on the main screen. In order for the button to be pressed, 98 has to jump 2 times on the preferred option. Or have a special interaction key representing pressing on the button but the animation appears that 98 is jumping on the button. In case of options (game settings) though, it can match the control panel in actual windows 98 and 98 teleports there and one of the options will be navigation type either player based or mouse cursor or keyboard based. So that's basically what I was thinking of, hope you like the idea and good luck with your game Tyx!

Glad you liked it! And thanks for some of the suggestions. I'll look into them. And yeah, I do agree the intro looks a bit empty. I was kind of thinking the same, but I don't really think there's a whole lot that suits this as I may be working with the 98 theme.

Also I noticed something in the game screen, when it loads the "based on windows 98 dies" it's just pops up, i think it should partially load like old images. practically you have already done that in the other texts but I just wanted to point it out. Sorry if I was a bit critical, I'm just trying to point out things that may not appeal to the UI and maybe be helpful

That'd actually be really cool, though I have no idea right now on how I can do that. If I have the chance to, I'll definitely work on making it compatible for fun, and at least with extended kernel.
