Windows User Buys A Mac! 

A user of M1 Macbook Air since 2020. It never disappointed me. Never lagged or crashed on me. Still running smoothly as butter.

Also worth to note, that to look Mac optimum on external screen, you should be buying a minimum 2K screeen, windows looks better even in 1080p screens

I have been using MBP14M1PRO since last 5/6 months, I gotta say it’s super worth it. The only place where I struggled with the Base Variant is while training a large image dataset using mid to high layered CNN architecture! But other than this, it flies! Specially the the Ecosystem between Mac & iPhone and the battery life is mind blowing ! And most of the apps are so optimized and snappy, even moving from here and there in the UI gives you the feeling of using premium devices! I must say, buying the MBP14M1PRO is one of the best decision ever!

I am a Mac user, bought m1 air just now and it is flawless, with keyboard screen trackpad speaker everything, if you cant afford m2 air, this is the best mac for students and office goers, just pure greatness

There is one and only one thing for which I will consider m1 Mac or m2 Mac. and that is battery life, but when asked a dongle user, he said that after using a dongle on a MacBook, battery life drops. And that is also a reason why Apple reduces the number of ports. When you have a Windows laptop with lots of ports. These port draws lots of mA current also, in mV potential is maintained; thus, battery backup reduces. You can't have the best of both worlds. Sacrifice has to be made.

I think even if I buy a macbook, I'll eventually end up running linux on it. but I agree in terms of performance on ARM Chips, these machines put everything behind. I hope ARM laptops with native linux comes on the market soon.

At 1.5 lakh, I can get intel i5 13600k + RTx 4070 build with 32GB DDR5 Ram which overkills in 1440p gaming and every productive tasks. Its agian very versatile. I can use this machine, upgrade components, resale any components, etc. Apple bas 🍎 ke chochle deta hai

For more than normal use-cases, MacBook air m1 is far better considering the price. M2 air base model have slower ssd speed as well. For 70-75k, m1 air is still my choice.If you can buy an external ssd for more storage, then this combo will be the best value for money for productivity.

Please note that the base variants of most cheaper macs like macbook air and mac mini come with only 8gb of RAM and 256gb storage, which you should totally avoid. Regardless of what you do, even for lightest of work loads like web browsing and watching movies, the minimum should be 16gb RAM. RAM fills quickly on macOS even for light tasks, and you will be using swap memory which is really slow in m2 macbooks with smaller storage like 256gb. If you are tight on budget and can only afford either 16gb ram or 512gb storage, I strongly suggest you to go for ram upgrade, because you can use external ssd for file storage if you want to.

I just got the Mac mini m2 the entire setup cost me 60k using the student discount and I would say for the price it’s wayyyy better than any windows laptop I could have for Surely portability is an issue but I feel I can live with it

Never forget the RAM, Storage, Repairability. I used the same computer for 12 years just by replacing parts. So when I reached 2022, I oonly had to replace mobo, processor, ram. everything was new that time. You can't do that in mac. So if you aim for a desk setup. Always buy a PC.

You are not talking about an important factor in the 60-1L price segment. STORAGE Apple prices are insane for storage and all the base variants come with 256gb which is smaller than my phone. I think storage is an important factor especially in the lower price segment.

I had planned to get a Mac Mini M2 just because it has all the ports and and it looks beautiful. But I just can't use a Mac, everything feels like an iPhone with a bigger screen. It doesn't feel like a computer. And I am not a content creator so I don't need apps like FCP. So, I went ahead with Intel NUC 13 Pro Barebone PC and after spending around 75k, I now have a PC with 32 GB DDR4 RAM and 2 TB NVME M.2 SSD running on Windows 11 Professional; something that Macs can never have at this price point. The cost of monitor and other peripherals are not included in the price mentioned.

Wait M1 Air is not that cheap, it's showing 99000 on their website

I carry the laptop in a proper laptop cover case and that in my bag. Never fell, never put any pressure on the screen. It just got cracked. In fact, I never used the laptop by rotating totally 360°, which is meant to be used that way. What should I do?

M3 Air is about to release in Oct supposedly! So prices of M2 and M1 Air will drop post that. Also, careful while buying from eCommerce sites. Many Air users who bought from one of the big eCommerce platForm are reporting hardware issues post 1 yr warranty period. Like display issues (replacement costs 40k).. Also the same platform is dishing out gst invoices to buyers which do not contain Apple product serial number which is essential to claim any warranty at Apple service centers.

I recently bought a M1 Macbook Air, and here are my thoughts on it. Firstly, with student offers and HDFC discount, I got it at 74,420. BUT, add 9.2k to that as Apple users have to buy Microsoft Office (something which most reviewers miss out on) Pros: Performance: Under the hood is an Apple Silicon, so this goes without saying. Battery Life: No laptop under 80k will give you such good battery life! Adding to this, the adapter is of the same size as a phone's adapter. So, you won't feel like you are carrying an additional gadget. Speakers: Again, best-in-segment. Display: It's good as well. Portability: Leight weight and slim. Can carry around easily. Also, macs are one of the most durable laptops. Cons: Initial trauma: I've been a lifelong Windows user. So getting used to MacOS takes some efforts in the beginning. Again, adding to this, there are many features of Windows, like split screen use, etc. that aren't available on mac by default. So, you'll find yourself busy downloading indivial apps for all the OBVIOUS features you would find on Windows. Ecosystem: I've a S20 Ultra, so I can't receive calls on my Mac. ALTHOUGH, you can use Clipt to have a seemless copy/paste experience across devices. Also, you can use Neardrop, i.e., Airdrop for Android to transfer files across devices. Gaming: Even if you are a casual gamer, do not consider this laptop. DISCLAIMER: I didn't buy the M2 Air as the read/write speeds on that are lower than M1 Air, and also, it didn't justify the 30k price difference.

Please don't buy the base configuration of the MacBook Air M2. The 256 GB storage is slower then the one in MacBook Air M1 and with only 8 GB of RAM system performance can suffer significantly.

I hope Mini Led becomes more popular you get the perfect blacks of OLED without the risk of Burn in. (Unless you're a rich gamer who prefers OLED for the response times...)

So the M1Air and M2 pro are the best of the lineup.

People, if you have 2+ lakhs to spare, get an assembled pc with an i9 14900k - rtx 4070 or similar, you can use it as both: as a workstation or gaming rig. It'll perform much better than a Mac The i9 outpaces even the M3 Max chip.

I really love android phones especially Samsung flagships and pixel. Not interested in iPhone. But the mac OS had good animation. Better performance but not for hard-core gamers , good for editing. I'm a Windows 11 user . But Windows is the king coz of large varieties, specs , customization. I had used Chrome os, Linux mint , windows version from win 7 starter , 8 , 8.1 , 10 , and now the Win 11 . I can clearly see windows became more resource consuming due to new animation , windows had tons of app support , (even can download paid app for free) the windows defender anti-virus sw had improved a lot and lot and we dint even need anti-virus in win 11 ,

Would recommend the Macbook to any non-gamer. The M1 chips are so freakin good.

for desktop i wont recommend mac mini, cuz fonts look lil blurry on macos on 4k screen...it's best with 5k display like studio display....so keep that in mind if you r planning to use mac as desktop.....its not that bad but if u r already used to 4k screen in windows the u migh notice the diff...

But the 13" MBP M2 has a fan, so I think it has better performance than the 13" MBA M2.

my only temptations to buy a macbook is the battery life. I currently am on HP spectre x360 and have no complaints other than deteriorating battery life. But honestly the apple software is so bullshit, I mean i tested a mac, i would not buy it just for how annoying it is to use its touchpad -_-
