@juzftrum3513 I’ve found a way to disable network boot, but it’s not trying to boot any other way. I still have no idea what to do, so I moved into virtualbox since there are no issues.
@Pinotki For me, it booted now. I think it was the ISO file. I tried, however, to lower the VMware version in the creation of the new virtual machine. Now it works even with the newest version (I don't understand it either). The problem which I'm having is the poor performance, so I will be switching to VirtualBox as well, until this issue is fixed.
My Windows Vista VM has sound stuttering problem i don't know how to fix it can you help me i am using VMware Workstation Version 1.6 and i installed VMware Tools Version 10.3.5
Should upload the ISO to MediaFire because the download speeds from the Internet Archive are capped, they go super slow even though i have Fiber-Optic Wi-Fi
Unfortunately, I get very poor graphics performance in Vista in VMware, and it always switches back to Vista Basic theme. I've assigned plenty enough RAM and vRAM, updated VMware Tools, but nothing fixes it. Even fresh install of Vista do it. Ugh. Vista was always one of my favorite OSs to play around in.
That's because the graphics driver from VMware tools 11.0-11.2.6 had a denial-of-service vulnerability. And yes, you can even install the graphics driver from 11.2.6 to Vista. But it will still be unstable. The issue has been fixed with vmware tools 11.3, but VMware decided to be assholes and dropped support for vista in their newer driver. They left Vista with a highly unstable driver. Your best deal is to use VMware Tools 10.3.5, which is pretty stable. But keep in mind that this doesnt have support for DX 11, so you will not be able to test DX 11 games with it. Only 11.0 and later have DX 11 support.
Dude, helpful video but you need to see a professional on how to to use a desktop, also you need to find better games lol, like a golfing game...........really, you're the kind of person that installs norton to increase performance. Your desktop is such a fever dream I would simply yeet the whole damn drive
