Quit bitchin about the quality jeezuz, its a cloudy day in so cal who cares cant always be sunny. Point is Skid Row has always been around, even when the trains ran the streets in the 30s and 40s shipping in fish in from the harbor and back out again. Thats why so many of those buildings have 'drive in' drive out' access, the train cars went right into the facility and then back out after being unloaded and headed back to the harbor. If you lifted up the pavement on most of these streets the train tracks would be right under. I lived in east LA in the 90s and 'visited' skid row often and it DOES NOT EVEN COMPARE to what it is now - POPULATION OVERLOAD and much more spread out - Skid Row seems like its become its own city now. I feel for many of these people but Calif has got to stop giving away the free benefits to curb this, especially the folks from out of state, make them prove some kind of existence in Calif prior to just handing them free money. And then it goes right back to the drug dealers. The dealers run the streets, if you dont comply, they burn your tent.
Its just being primitive. Enjoying what you can, eating what you can get, spending time with people you enjoy being with. If society really wanted to see people advance then to look like this all at once? It would.
I think because of the drugs that the warehouses would burn down it’s just not safe some people would destroy the interiors but with proper security it might work. The high rises they are building now around skid row are not for these people it’s for others that will come in.
This what the the democrat politicians would like to see the whole country look like. They are starting off in the democrat run cities, and they hope one day to have the whole country on a central bank digital currency and everyone have a food stamp card and government check, as long as you agree with them and keep your social credit score up by thinking exactly they way they do.
Yeah, it's the democrats. Republicans never support policies that aren't in the interests of the working class and poor. Could you be anymore simpleminded?
