If something is going to go wrong it will always be when a camera is rolling. Glad you kept that bit in. The joys of filming for RU-vid. Great video as usual. Cheers
Hiya Keith-fair play mate. You could have easily edited that video, but the look on your face when the screen popped out was magic! Keep well and keep 'em coming.
Love your honesty Keith! And no words to 'Beep' out either. very impressive. 👍👏 Have to say those side trim pieces do look better. My OCD would have been kicking shins with the MS ones. Been using those gloves since I was at Scanias years back and swear by them. Glad you like them.
I bought a later screen rubber for mini spares and the rubber was that hard to work with I ended up cracking the screen. So going to try the earlier type rubber next time.thanks for another helpful video 👍
I wish the plastic chrome moulding I am putting on my Mini would go on as easily as the moulding you are using. Mine has to go over the wheel arches as well. Because the moulding comes in a coil it doesn't like to leave that shape and is a "B" to install. Even with heat etc.
I have the same problem, I've already ruined one set. I'm waiting for a hot Australian summers day to try again with a new set. It would be wonderful if someone could manufacturer a flexible version.
@@stewartpalmer7039 Hi Stewart, I also ruined a length and at $30. Canadian + postage $15. it's not a cheap screw up. Check out " Cafe Racer Lab" He demonstrates putting on this moulding using pot rivets in places. I've been stretching my new moulding out in the sun putting weights at each end to try and get it a bit straighter. It's the curves just in front of the rear wheel arch and the curve just behind the front wheel arch that are the problems.!!###***#!! Good Luck with yours.
@@midgelambert3880 45aud per side plus freight. I did see the cafelab racer video but thanks for the tip. I kept my old ones and will try to get the new ones roughly into shape off the car using hot water after trying to straighten the coil out first. Local mini specialist does say to try hanging them with a weight attached. If I can help you in anyway please contact me via YT if you can. Have you found ausmini forum lots of good information on it. I am stewartp on ausmini.
I wonder if i can replicate the window in out in out.. then shaking all about... I am definitely not looking forward doing this on my own mini noting that is also heated
Hi Keith just a guick question not regarding this video, what is your honest opinion of the duren polisher you use good or bad, thinking of getting one myself. Thanks les great videos by the way 👍
It's worked well for me. It works better with the 75mm pads, seems to struggle a bit with the 150mm. Only real complaint is the power cable is way too short.
