Absolutely beautiful-- exactly the sort of 'memory' I look for in my travels. What a splendid history it had, not even to survive a war but so many hurricanes and storms. (not to mention the human dramas of births, marriages and deaths). Thank you for taking me to a place I would never have seen or even known about w/o your episode. Well done!
That's me 🤭... I had been wanting to go there for years. That's the last trip I took before my brother passed away, and I was like let's go. We went to Windsor Ruins, Rodney, MS and Natchez City Cemetery.
Not BS. I am a 70 year old African American man. I grew up less than a mile from Windsor Ruins. I played there as a kid. In fact, the woman of my life, my girlfriend from the time I was about 8 years old, grew up and played there as a child too. Additionally, we are in touch with people who grew up on and around that place with us; so, it's not a joke or BS.
