As a scuba diver I'd recommend sailing gloves for diving in preference to diver's gloves - once the water is warm enough, from about June onwards. if you're operating your own or a Club Dive boat, coxing, handling ropes, chains & buoys you really need hand protection and Dive gloves just don't provide enough flexibility & dexterity.
