Windy Conditions: How I lit with the GODOX AD200 / Featuring Drina 

The diffuser spreads the light out. Shooting without the diffuser would have produced harder, deeper shadows. As light passes through any sort of diffusion, it scatters at wider angles than if it was undiffused.

@@J.Allen_Photography I guess you don't get hassled by security much. I once set up my gear in a car park here in the UK and before I'd clicked the shutter I was shut down. I stick to public places I can't get thrown out of these days.

It was the bulb. Yes.

This was around sunset so I don’t think I was at full power, but honestly don’t remember.

@@J.Allen_Photography Thanks for the reply, Jason, I have the AD 300 most of my model shoots I use a 24 or 33 inch soft box. My power setting is usually around 1/8..To bad the strobe info is Not on the file. Since the trigger is mounted on the camera it seems it would be good info to reference. Since you post your shoots on U-Tube maybe keep a note pad handy on your shoots to record the strobe power?...BTW when I do use a reflector I use 1 or 2 white fabric diffusers to soften the harsh bare bulb light..I buy small amount of white fabric and cut out circles then my wife sews an elastic band around the edge to keep them in place..I enjoy your videos Jason keep them coming.

Just the way I exposed before adding my light. No post processing was needed to bring up or down exposure.
