I paused the picture as you were describing background color mixes and your hair was the perfect match for the color you were creating!!! I love the current look, but always look forward as I watch many different tutorials to see what the days outfits and color schemes will be. Your creativity extends to so many areas!!!!
I just did this painting today.... Thank you Thank You Thank you!!!!! Cinnamon and John you are the best. Even my husband complimented my painting and that says something lol ....🍷🥰
If you don't have Naples yellow light what can you do to make it? Add white to Naples yellow or another color? Also you are the reason I got into painting on a canvas and I thank you for that. I use to paint on my nails but just stopped cuz I didn't like my art only being seen for a couple of days. And I saw ur video of the bride and groom and it was the perfect gift for my sister getting married. Ur the best teacher I ever seen. Keep up the great inspiration you and Jon give to everyone.
There is a substitute color list in the Acrylic April group in the file section. Hansa Yellow light Cadmium Yellow Light Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue Lemon Yellow Bismuth Vanadate Yellow Azo Light Benzimidazolone Yellow Light
Thank you so much! I love the fact that u added arabic captions in the video 😍now all my friends who don't understand English can enjoy your paintings 👏👏👏👏 Bravo
This is wonderful! I like to watch the tutorials first then paint the steps. Do we have access to the reference photo? It would help me to see what I am painting, especially in this painting. I participated in 2019 Acrylic April and we had photos we could look at. I can’t seem to find a photo of the reference, an I looking in the wrong place?
Hi cinnamon...I loved your videos and I love recreating these....I am your huge fan... please keep making such video tutorial..they are very very helpful for people like me ...I do have a question...why you paint the background first while you always add another layer of paint on them.. I know there must be a reason to do this...so pls tell me🙏... lots of love from India
I tried this tutorial and the result is decent. I love how you have explained well and in detail. I would like to know that like you have signed your painting with your name. But since I have followed your instruction and kind of made an copy of it so if i sign the painting with my name will it come under copyright issue? PS: I'm asking this in general as I'm learning to paint so most of my paintings are duplicates of artists version. So is it ethical to sign it with my name ?
I know I'm quite late to the party, but all art is reference. If it is in your head, it is still reference. Even the craziest of alien art creatures brought forth from an imagination is a reference to something that has been seen, often in nature. Just my two cents.
