Pretty healthy harvest this year coming out of California. The fruit we received was clean without any visible signs of mold or age. Cabernet Sauvignon came from Suisuin Valley, 169 clone, very small clusters and berries came in around 25 brix and 3.9 pH. Old Vine Zin from Lodi looked very healthy with minimal berry dehydration, brix were 26 pH was around 4. Also bought some Aglico, Nero de Alva and Mouvedre to blend with the Zin, should be a nice mix. Went Michigan and bought 50 gallons of Vidal Blac, blending it back with New York Riesling and Gewurztraminer. Trying something new. This is the Riesling and Gewurzt firing away in a fermentation drum.
