This videos explains why I dropped arts like Shotokan karate because my Sensei was HUGE and I'm 5'3 135lbs. Kungfu and it's internal principles made more sense for me..j
This is really really one of your best, I love the realistic aspect of a taller bandit, and your theoretical combination of the forms that writes the tips for what to do in the situation keep it up . 😊 ❤
Greetings, thank you Adam and Chris. I see 7 Star Praying Mantis in there. We all bring something to the Table of Martial Arts. These are Flow into each other as Water from one vessel to another. Thank you again☀️🌿🙏🏾
It's great how you can use wing chun forms on lower parts of the body taking your opponent down hitting his groing, the back of the knee, destroying his balance. Most people say wing chung has no ground game which is wrong since everything you can do above you can also apply below. But let's say if you really want to learn that kind of thing it's best to train something like Judo or Jiu Jitsu instead of looking for chinese martial arts. Each art has different strenghts.
If you are small and skinny (as Wing Chun was designed for) you dont want to be rolling with big dudes.. just hit them close range at the vital places let them fall and then run as fast as you can …
@@Larsbor I'm not, but I've fought people who do grappling before most of them bigger than me and they were surprised by me speed, so I would say Wing Chun did really well for me since I managed to stay up on those situations. But that was a long time ago. I agree.
Trying similar stuff... Big problem when the tall guy knows how to use his knee... As soon as i enter..i eat a huge knee.. 😢 Or.a big elbow... He can faint an attack to provoke my entry...then i get a knee or elbow... So ..no more entry to big guys for me.. Nowadays I prefer to use leg of arms destructions first .( Similar to what kali or Silat do).in long distance .. or if we already are in short distance . ,I always attack first with pak Sau en finger jab plus leg obstruction wing tsun style
